Thanks for all the replies - I also suffer from brochiectasis so I was hoping this would help dry up the pulmonary secretions.

We assume the best time to take the

Spiriva unavailable.
I have just had a phone call from Boots to tell me that
Spiriva
is out of stock with them and at the manufacturers! I was offered an alternative called Tiogiva which I have never heard of but, on Googling, appears to contain the same amount of tiotropium bromide as
Spiriva
capsules.

result of consultant appointment
Saw the chest consultant And he has changed my inhalers (Back to) Fostair 200 and a new one,
Spiriva
2.5. How do these two work in conjunction for other people on here ? And of COURSE I am to continue with Ventolin, despite what they said at the doctors!

Hi I have been using
spiriva
hard capsule for about a month. For several days now, my mouth has been dry, I have such a disgust and my tongue is burning. Is it normal? I would like to continue the
spiriva
as my breathing has improved a lot. But what can I do to avoid dry mouth? .

Stopping inhalers prior investigation.
I have to stop
Spiriva
72 hrs before no Seretide for 24 hrs and no ventolin for 6 hours prior. Im panicking to say the least I feel I will end up in hospital if I don't take my inhalers as I'm very unstable anyway I get breathless wheeze and cough very easily.

Cause of transient global amnesia?
Top of the list were anticholenergic drugs such as
Spiriva
, which I take as a powder from an inhaler. My doctor assured me that it is only the tablets that can have this effect, even though both tablets and powder have the same content. Has anyone any thoughts on this?

Trimbow with emphysema, bronchiectasis and aspergillus causing problems
Last summer my inhalers we’re changed from
spiriva
and seretide to Trimbow. After an initial period of improvement my breathing got worse but not enough to ring alarm bells.

Spiriva respimat Green cap
Just been put on this and setting it up is different/ weird. 1. When I pushed the tube in ,I don't recall hearing a click. Pulled it out a little and pressed down, still no click. 2. I didn't feel anything when taking it, is that the same for others? 3. ^^ made me check , so sometimes the mist comes

Adverse effects from taking prednisilone and anticholinergic drugs?
I found a possible link to
Spiriva
, which I inhale for COPD, also found a possible link to adverse reactions when taking prednisilone and anticholinergics.

More inhaler questions
As I wrote last week, I started taking
Spiriva
again following problems with Trelegy Ellipta.
Spiriva
had been my first inhaler four years ago, followed by Anoro and eventually Trelegy. I’ve been really short of breath since re-starting
Spiriva
so I really feel I need to change.
