Peak flow increased by inhalers
I'm now on symbicort 200 2x puffs three times a day and also
spiriva
respimat 2x puffs in the morning. I check my peak flow regularly and for the last few months (since taking these new inahlers) I'm hitting 400 - 450 regularly.

Changing copd meds
Just had my copd review by telephone consultation and the nurse has changed my fostair and
spiriva
to trimbow as she though it might improve my wheezing. I started it yesterday and am really struggling today. Has anyone else experience of trimbow and does it take time to 'kick in?

Advice on asthma as I have run out of options !
I'm currently on 40mg steroids (due to the reaction) and will start weaning tomorrow, fostair 200/6,
spiriva
respirmat and ciclesonide. I can't take montelukast as it causes anxiety.

I am powerless
I tried Fostair, Symbicort, Seretide, Flutiform,
Spiriva
respimat. Nothing helps me. I have to take ventolin 2-4 times a day. I have shortness of breath and my chest is wheezing. Two days ago I had a meeting with a consultant and he said that he couldn't write anything new for me.

Seretide and spiriva respimat
Today my doctor prescribed an additional
spiriva
respimat inhaler. Do any of you also have such a set of inhalers and after how long did your asthma improve? Thanks in advance for all answers.

My consultant said he'd like me to try this medication out as an add-on treatment, how do you find it if you're on it?

Intense Stabbing in centre of chest
I am already on a maintenance dose of prednisolone whilst I am waiting for biologics, I take
spiriva
, fostair, montelukast, cetrazine and beconase, so thought I had seen most symptoms by now, but obviously not? Sorry for the long post, would really appreciate any feedback, thank you 😞

Call asthma doctor? She doesn’t help much. Long term prednisone.
I also take dulera 200 inhaler,
spiriva
, montelukast, xyzal. When I’ve checked my peak flow meter it has been between 275 and 325. My usual medium low is 375, my regular is 450. Thoughts? should I keep using my home treatments? Call in? Urgent care? Online doc?

I’ve just received an nhs emergency identity card through the mail that states that I’m steroid dependent
This has not been discussed with me and I’m quite shocked to realise this (perhaps I’m being naive and it should have been obvious with the amount of inhalers I’m on …..sirdupla,
spiriva
respimat and regular courses of prednisolone I have.) it states on the card I’m at risk of adrenal crisis.

Short Synacthen Test for AI
I am also on
Spiriva
Respimat 2 puffs morning, as well as ipratropium (Atrovent) and salbutamol via nebuliser 3-4 times daily (as well as other asthma meds). I have been told that these are ok to continue.

Switch to MART fostair from seretide
Having been on seretide 250mg for a good few years, as well as added in
spiriva
respimat, fexofenadine, montelukast and nasal spray (recent change to dymista), have been switched onto fostair 100/6 MART. According to my plan, its 2 puffs twice daily, plus an extra 4 as and when.

Post steroud wean or Ipratropium side effects? - nausea, dizziness, fatigue
I know that Ipratropium is a similar drug to my
spiriva
, and the asthma nurse said I shouldn't need both but it's not impossible to be on both. But, I tried not taking my
spiriva
for 2 mornings, but by the third morning, I felt really rough and my chest felt really heavy.

My Asthma
I have had my inhalers changed to
Spiriva
once a day and my seretide disk inhaler changed to puffer inhaler so I can use my spacer. I have now been seen at the hospital and they have recommended I see the physio and try some breathing exercises They are thinking it may be pollen related .
