Normal cycle after having coil removed?
Hi all, I had my coil removed 21st March after having it for 6 years (no period during this time) and i had a 4 day bleed 2 days later. Unsure if this was a period or removal bleed. Anyone else who's had the coil removed know how long it can take for your cycle to get back to normal? Would love to

Bleeding after surgery
Hi all (again), I have my surgery on Thursday and since Saturday (yesterday) I have been bleeding a lot. It seems to be like an extremely heavy period but with a lot of big clots. Is this normal so soon after surgery?

Resting heart rate during 2WW…?
Does anyone monitor their RHR during their cycle at all? I’ve got an Apple Watch that does it automatically and I can’t help myself from checking it, as my RHR was one of my first “symptoms” in a previous pregnancy (it stayed high after ovulation, rather than dropping just before AF as it usually does

Update on last post
So, my granddaughter has been on the combined pill for over two months which has done what it was supposed to do, except that she is in more pain now than ever before. The GP has given her different pain killers but once again they have no effect on her. He said that in his opinion she may not have

Laparoscopy advice
I’m due to have my second laparoscopy on Thursday and cautious that I’ll come on my period that day. I was due to start on Monday but, as they’re irregular, I haven’t come on yet. Can you still have your laparoscopy whilst on your period??!

Can you take combined pill breaks at any stage?
I take my combined pill (Gedarel 30/150) without breaks, to help with extreme cramping and serious anaemia. I take a 5 break when I get breakthrough bleeding. Does this put me at risk of pregnancy? Is there a set 28-day cycle, or is this subjective? Thanks.

Very irregular/skipped periods after recent laparoscopy?
Hello, this is my first time posting and I’m just looking for some advice please. I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis following a laparoscopy on 29 January. My first period afterwards was 14 February and that was on time, albeit I bled longer than usual. However, I did experience very light

Hi everyone So I’ve just finished with the zoladex injections. They were useless for me and gave me heavy periods. I’m up for trying anything. Pills patches creams drops. Anything I’ll give a go. Menopause did not stop the pain. ☹️. Crazy really as I first went to see a doctor for heavy periods in

Endo or Proctalgia fugax?

Please help!
Hi all. I had a laparoscopy two years ago, where the doctor confirmed I had PCOS and that they found stage 2, widespread endometriosis in the pouch of Douglas. This was mostly all removed by the doctor at the time. I didn’t think any more of it until last week, where I had two periods in 10 days along

Possible endo (or is it just IBS?)
I have some odd symptoms and just don’t know if they’re endo or if they’re IBS. I have coeliac disease also so don’t want to assume it’s endo. Here are some of my symptoms: Frequent pelvic pain (low abdominal ache & sometimes pinching pains either side where I imagine my ovaries are) Worse constipation

Periods after birth
Hi, Just wondered what your experience was of periods following birth? I am bleeding heavy every 10 - 14 days for 10 days minimum at a time. By heavy, I mean, more than I did even straight after giving birth. This wasn’t normal for me, prior to birth, I was regular every 28 days and bled for 5-6 days
