Will SE end?
I finished 9 weeks of RT 10 days ago. Stage 2-3 pc. On monthly Eligard. The SE have been on/off diarrhea, managed by immodium and on/off urination problems. I am recording the times of my nightime trips to monitor my sleep cycles. I get up about 6 times per night to pee - about every 100 minutes. I

Recurrent bladder irritation
Since my horrific experience of urinary sepsis I am understandably concerned that it could return, to that end I am neurotically testing it with a dip stick. No infection as yet however I am not convinced that the bladder sedative I was prescribed Solifenacin 5mgs, is doing anything. Does anyone else

self catheterization
I'm 8 days away from completing my 45 radiation treatment. The side effects have not been pleasant but now the beam is more focused on the prostate. I am having a problem emptying my bladder and for the last week have been unable to sleep for more than 2 hrs at a time without waking to pee. My Dr. recommended

COVID-19 Infection effect on Urinary Incontinence and Mirabegron.
Dear Simon Foundation, I'm an old member of HU as a CLL type Leukaemia patient in the UK, but only just discovered your Simon foundation. Now I've always had poor bladder control and that could be due to bladder sensitivity, BPH, or damaged nerves in my lower back or all three, or more. I've gone through

Accidently took 2 Calquence tablets last night instead of one
I've been on Calquence for about 1.5 years. Started with 1 pill 2x daily and eventually cut back to just the evening dose. The morning dose was more than I could handle. Messed up my stomach, digestion and I got so tired that I couldn't really accomplish any thing during the day due to extreme fatigue

wrong tablets
I have just taken my husbands tablets by mistake. I should have taken Entresto, Bisoprolol, and edixaban. Instead I have taken 5mg Amlodipine, 20mg atorvastatin and tamsulosin hydrochloride. Doctors closed holiday weekend as is Blood Failure clinic. What should I do?

Sensitivity to Inactive Ingredients in tablets.
Does anyone have sensitivity to the Inactive Ingredients in medication, particularly with tablets that are prescribed for an Overactive Bladder? Inactive Ingredients appear in all tablets, adding things such as bulk and stability to the Active Ingredient. Inactive ingredients differ from brand to brand

OAB Fluid intake important
Hi. Thanks for sharing your story. I’d like to add or expand here about fluid intake. I’ve just stopped the solifenacin after only a few weeks as I’ve developed breathing issues and hot clammy forehead I was still getting up 3-4 times a night which was an improvement on 6-7 times My Urology Consultant

Sleeping
Does anyo.ine have a good suggestion for a med or otc pill to help me sleep thru the night without needing to urinate? I am using catheters 3x daily including just before bed, but I still need to get up at least once in the early morning hours. I am also taking Solifenacin 10mg in the evening.

Return of RLS
I posted a couple of weeks ago that I suspected Tamsulosin was the cause of RLS that had started to become a nightly event. I stopped taking Tamsulosin and had a clear run of 18 nights without RLS, brilliant, decent night's sleep, cracked it, I thought. Then, for the last 6 nights, it's back again. OK

Solifenacin
Hi everyone. Here again. After a few months of almost normal life it seems the Solifenacin has stopped working. I am only on 5mg but am reluctant to take the 10mg as the lower one causes constipation for which I have to have laxitives. On a high fibre diet but with plenty of fruit and veg. This

Painful Peeing/Tamsulosin post RP
Hi Everyone, It's been about 1.5 year since my RP. My psa is .4 and generally life is great-ish. The ish part of this is the following: With Tamsulosin, I pee alot during the night...4-6 x...which leaves me exhausted the next day. Without it, I get up 2x a night and generally sleep better

Long Term Use of Prednisolone
I have posted several times before on my lack of success in dealing with PMR. Earlier this year I had yet another flare and needed to go up again to 17.5mg. As previously recommended by members I commenced with what I thought was a slow steady reduction of 1mg every 2 weeks and from 10mg a reduction
