Hi everyone. Here again. After a few months of almost normal life it seems the Solifenacin has stopped working. I am only on 5mg but am reluctant to take the 10mg as the lower one causes constipation for which I have to have laxitives. On a high fibre diet but with plenty of fruit and veg. This has solved that problem. Now the awful feeling of wanting to wee all the time is back. It is just the pressure not actually having to pass urine. I use the tens machine. The physio NHS showed me how to use it. Exercises too. It is so depressing. I am on the list for the acupuncture nerve procedure, sorry forgotten the name of it. It is on the NHS but nearly a years waiting list. Wondering if anyone on the 10mg. Any advice welcome.

Solifenacin
I take the 10 mg no probs, also 50 mg mirabegron. I don't have constipation even though I also take codeine and don't specially watch diet...maybe it's just the way I'm made!
Hi! I found 10mg gave me urine retention, so I have one 5mg on the morning and one 5mg at night.
I hope that helps.

Thankyou for your reply. Spoke to my GP yesterday and she did not recommend upping the dose, because of the constipation. So looks like I have to cope with the 5mg. Sure the anxiety is half the problem. I suppose luckily I do have to go to the toilet it is just a pressure on the urethra feeling of wanting to go.
I know what you mean about pressure. My brain can't switch off from that pressure so it's mentally exhausting.
Sorry I meant I do not physically have to go it’s the constant awful feeling of wanting to go. I hope the Solifenacin is helping you.
From what you say, your problems mirror mine.
