Is there anyone that can further educate me on the combination of POTS, FND, and other medical issues one of my best friends is facing?
One of my best friends is struggling with many medical conditions and has been diagnosed with having POTS, a FND, has what we call “episodes” in the middle of classes and at times will run out of rooms to avoid being made a spectacle of in front of others. They shortest amount of time they usually last

Magnesium
I need some information on magnesium. My labs show I'm low but still within the normal range and the doctor advised to take the supplement daily. Ive been taking 500mg of plain magnesium and started to develop severe insomnia and a lot of intense, crazy dreaming. I cut back to 250 mg a day but frankly

Hi everyone, I started treatment with Levothyroxine in January and reached a dose of 100mcg about 6 months ago. I tested at the end of May and had a suppressed TSH (0.05) range 0.55-0.78 and T3 was 4.9 (range 3.5-6.5) . I have been getting increasing attacks of fatigue recently and discovered that my

Want to stop Prolia
I have been on Prolia for 3 years and want to stop. Rheumatologist only says « you should stay on it » blah blah blah. I know that there’s risks of spontaneous fracture but the side effects and long term effects of Prolia are frightening. Anyone know of any natural remedies ( I am in my 60s). I take

Life with Ectopics - 20 years old
Hi, my name is Abbie McDonald, and I am currently 20 years old. I have had heart issues, specifically ectopics, for over 6 years now. My story is quite long but I will do my best to summarise it all. It all started after my HPV vaccine at school in Year 10. Following the jab, I came down with cold

Reassurance please if possible
A little background, I started on T3 as well as my levo in September, initially 5mcg 3 x day but because of ectopics reduced to twice a day since early November. Since adding in vit b, to my vit D and k2, plus recently magnesium of a night and mainly gluten free, my ectopics finally settled. I felt

Vitamin advice
I know from here that multi vitamins are generally no good I wondered what the experts think to these Alive woman’s energy vitamins please? I currently take vitamins D, K, C, magnesium and selenium, but wouldn’t mind trying something for an extra energy boost! In addition to the photo, they also contain

Help interpreting private blood test results
Following my last post (link below), I spoke to my doctor who confirmed that my vitamin D level was “inadequate” at 42nmol/L (range 30-50nmol/L is considered inadequate in some people) so I’ve started to take a supplement. He said I should start to feel better in 6-8 weeks… We also spoke about my TSH

Labs and medication dosage question
Hey all. I know you aren’t doctors, and I do have a thyroid dr, but she’s not my actual dr,( she costs thousands of dollars) BUT she has been nice enough to give me some medication recommendations as I had her on my podcast. I’ve had a night mare of a week with my other thyroid dr who basically told

Af episode tonight
Just been in A&E with AF, in Nuneaton. Not had an episode for nearly 2 years. This time I was given a magnesium drip and a bisopropol tablet. It stopped after a few hours, but they were going to send me home, even if it hadn’t stopped, as my blood pressure was ok again. I’ve been to Leicester A&E with

Armour Thyriod (blood work results)
Hello, Could someone kindly let me know if I should increase Armour Thyroid from 45 to 60mg? I do supplement with liquid iron, d3, and magnesium spray daily. Since three weeks ago started to feel fatigue and depression. FYI at that time I started Accutane 40mg once daily for acne. Today the dermatologist

Recommendations for magnesium supplements
I’ve not been supplementing this for a while as I find it upsets my stomach. I’d like to reintroduce it, any stomach friendly recommendations would be welcome.

Is change good?
Me = 78, Jak2 and ET + Edoxaban. I had a rare FTF meet with my Haematologist and raised the point that the side effects of Hydroxycarbamide are increasing - usual fatigue & breathlessness (this can also be attributed to my Atrial Fibrillation of course) , pruritis itch in all parts, actinic keratosis
