Interesting new video channel recently started over on YouTube:

youtube.com/channel/UCZjkFR...

So far looked at cardiorespiratory fitness, Covid & AF, ideal waist size and is currently looking at magnesium supplementation.

From his bio:

"I'm David, an atrial fibrillation (AFib) prevention aficionado based in the US. My history includes practicing as a licensed pharmacist in several states and writing/publishing numerous pharmacy study guides. I hold a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a PharmD with a concentration in pharmaceutical research. Having received an ablation for supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), I have a particular interest in preventing new-onset or recurrent atrial fibrillation post-supraventricular arrhythmia (SVA) ablation. So, if you've received an ablation for SVT or AFib and you'd like to gain research-based insights into how AFib might be prevented going forward, then this channel is for you!"

Thanks Barny for posting this link. I shall work my way through the videos.

My BMI had crept up to just about 25 during lockdown despite being on a mainly plant based diet but I am now gradually sinking down through 24.

I have reduced portion size and I now think more carefully about balancing food groups. Surprisingly I rarely feel hungry and I certainly have more energy.

A great way to keep track of calories and especially nutrient intake is with Cronometer:

cronometer.com/

it's particularly helpful for keeping an eye on magnesium/potassium levels.

I subscribed to Noom and find their approach and their support very effective. I have lost 8 lbs in 6 weeks, so I am happy so far.
