Seeking a salt substitute
Since I went on a low
sodium
diet due to heart failure and kidney disease, I have been searching for a salt substitute that I like, while avoiding anything with chemical content. I have tried Mrs. Dash table blend, etc., and it's okay but not real satisfactory for me.

Bowel problems
I am starting my third round of chemo as I have had bowel changes and it was found the cancer had grown around the bowel which my oncologist says it could make it sluggish. But my problem is that I’m emptying my bowels up to 8 times a day and I’m very loose which stops me going anywhere for fear or soiling

UK v US Kidney Measurement
My potassium,
sodium
etc are fine. Only my BUN and Creatinine are high ( Creatinine is 1.6) I am a white female of 86 years with chronic heart failure and all I can think to do is to drink lots of water. Is there a difference between readings in UK and those in USA?

Radium 223 disaster
Feb my PSA started to rise (it was 0.028 most of last Summer) the RO said it's normal for PSA to rise during this treatment so didn't worry, they were happy with my blood counts and said things seem to going well, July my PSA got to 75 and started to become concerned, the pain in my legs started to increase

Advise on Blood results please
Free T4 14.1 (11-24) TSH 0.15 (0.35-4.5) Serum Ferritin 69 (13.0-150)
Sodium
142 (133-146) Potassium 4.7 (3,5-5.3) No other test were given although I requested T3 I reluctantly agreed as I was worried that the Dr had said over prescribing Thyroxine could cause the palpitations and encourage a stroke

Hi everyone, apparently I have low
sodium
levels and my GP wants me to limit my fluid intake to under 2litrs a day, preferably 1.5 . I have issues with this. What does anyone else think/ know? I would be grateful for help ☺

average time for hospice care at home
It has been a long time since I have been on this forum. Unfortunately, we have the news that my SO has run out of all treatment options except for experimental drugs. He will not be taking it as his body has been weakened from all the different cocktails he has already tried. His PSA is now 185,

It’s 3am and I have a migraine
Since I’ve been off the medication my migraines have gotten much worse again and the only thing I can take for them is naproxen
sodium
, which only helps 10% of the time. I forget to eat a lot so my husband usually ends up making sure I eat balanced meals.
