Okay, I had my sodium IV this morning. It is amazing! I feel like a different person. I never knew that your sodium level could cause such horrible problems. It was an easy fix. Thank goodness I have a fabulous doctor who rooted out the problem and immediately fixed it! I am really grateful. Thank you

Not a relapse
I have been dealing with some problems lately. I didn’t know if I was having a relapse, but it really didn’t feel like it was MS related. I explained to my doctor that all my bones were aching and I felt a bit confused. Thankfully he really listened and ran some blood work. It turned out that my sodium

Just received the full copy of my blood test where I can see my TSI
My TSI is 1.20 (0.00 - 2.00) Does it mean that I ddi not have Graves and RAI is not right treatment for me? Thank you very much for your opinions.

Armour or the single pill - hair loss
Hi Has anyone got Hashimotos and tried Armour or been on the progesterone only pill? As about three months ago I went from NP to Armour NDT as my TSH was nearly 4.5 taking 1.5 grains of NP (I have always taken 1.5 of WP and done ok on this) But then at the same time I also changed from the depo injection

Imodium how often?
How often can you take Imodium to help with IBSD and how many do you take? How long before you go out do you take them? Is Loritax the same, it’s cheaper than Imodium? Thanks.

I just saw today my doctor and asked her why I can not continue my treatment with carbimazol(I feel good but just have big goiter) She insisted that taking carbimazol for life is not posible, that I will have the complications with heart because of it. Is it true? (I was taking 5mg ,now she wants

Is it common to get chest pains with thyroid problems?
I saw a post today from someone who was having chest pain with their thyroid problem and was wondering if my pain could indicate I have the same. I have been in A&E today for the second time in 10 days with ongoing short, sharp pain on the left hand side of my chest with palpitations. Last week they

Just asking advice. Does anyone else have diarrhoea every afternoon no matter what they have eaten? It’s been going on for months now and feel like it’s ruining my life. It’s always about half an hour ish after I’ve eaten and it’s explosive and foul stenching. I have tried all sorts. Even Imodium won

Iodine as a potential endocrine disruptor-a role of oxidative stress
Am somewhat surprised by this substantial paper on iodine - deficiency and excess are both addressed. As well as protection from radioactive iodine. They claim: [i]Universal awareness that iodine is a potential EDC would make consumers more careful regarding their diet and what they supplement in tablets

Diarrhea while weaning pred and on actemra
I have had diarrhea almost constantly for 2-3 weeks. Since I started on prednisone and actemra about a year ago, I have had it about once a week, but this is unusual. I don't feel sick in any other way--except for the cramping and discomfort from diarrhea. I am tapering my prednisone by 1/2 mg every

Graves' Ophthalmopathy in the Setting of Primary Hypothyroidism
