suspected epidural tumour
Hi all! Hope you are all doing well. My dad just got his scans back, and to go along with his rising PSA (over 260 now), the said they suspect he has an epidural tumour. Our MO typically glazes past his scan results as she doesn’t seem them significant, I want to make sure I am right to be worried here

Hyponapea test
Just seen letter hospital sent to my gp. My sodium level is 134 and they suggested Hyponapea test. Any advice welcome on fluid intake. Never had cause to think about how much I drink before. Fortunately seeing my alternative practioner in 3 weeks so I'll make sure test is done before then It's

What diet to follow?
My 66 y.o. husband has a Gfr of 53 and 15 to 30 protein in urine. He was first diagnosed 19 months ago and Gfr has changed very little. His PCP tells him to drink more water, lower sodium intake and get tested annually. He went to a Nephrologist that told him to drink less water (no more than 50 oz

How much Gaviscon to take?
Having endured angina type symptoms for more than a year, yesterday I tried Gaviscon for the first time at the suggestion of my GP. I immediately feel a lot better. So now I want to ask everybody about taking Gaviscon. Is it OK to continue taking it indefinitely every day ? The instructions say 10

Hi, I was taking Indapamide for 4 weeks and my BP was great, however my GP has taken me off them as he said my sodium levels are too low, now I'm on Doxazosin and my BP is right back up and I feel rubbish. Anyone else suffer from low sodium levels and if so is there anything you can take to increase

What should I expect at the end?
My dad 77 year old had been battling castration resistant prostate cancer for many years. He was in remission for awhile (unsure exactly how long as he was secretive about the whole thing) however it made a huge comeback in January of 2022 and he has been through a short stint of chemo as well as

This past summer, I wrote because my husband's PSA numbers started doubling very quickly. David's last chemo (6

Time to come off Ropinerole 4 years after being on Pramepexole 7 years. What else can I try????
I've been on these and both caused augmentation and with both was increased to maximum dose yet still had restless legs causing sleepless nights, anxiety and depression. Before I went onto medication I found out I was severely anaemic, I don't know how it happened to me as I was previously fit and healthy
