Lupron unjection not reducing PSA
I was first diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2016. It has been contained in the prostate ever since. For 3 years I treated myself with vitamins and nutrients. Kept my psa down until I had a kidney stone operation and for some odd ball reason loss control of the psa after the operation, it shot up to

Is a Liquid biopsy of ctDNA with PSA = 6 and 4 bone mets, useful?
Hello friends I have to pay upfront the costs but I don't know if nothing will be found in a liquid biopsy with PSA of 6.5 What is your experience with liquid biopsy? And did anyone have a bone metastatic solid biopsy ? Thank you 🤗🙌

PSA rising, rapidly
Well, it looks like my honeymoons of ADT are over. I was (and still am) on a tripple therapy along the lines of the ARASENS trial (Docetaxel, Lupron and NUBEQA) for about 2 years. My PSA started rising six months ago, at first slowly, but now very rapidly. It went from 0.04 to 0.05 then 0.17 (in three

Today is Two for Chemotherapy My wife discovered a lump in her breast in November2023, called for mammogram and they, Montefiore NY, made her wait to January 16th, of course she didn’t know TNBC grows at approximately 1% a day. So, January 16th, they did Mammogram, MRI, Ultrasound and Biopsy.

Macrogol (Dulcoease)
Hi, has anyone else found that laxative treatments containing Macrogol increases their pain and bloating considerably? I have just been put on this and Mebeverine, but am still in a lot of pain, which seems worse when I take Macrogol. Thanks

Successful Pluvicto Treatment
I completed six Pluvicto treatments in December 2023 and returned to Mayo in Rochester on January 31, 2024 for a Choline Pet scan to see if it would reveal any non-PSMA PCa. My doctor reviewed the report and scans and informed me that my cancer appears to be in complete remission. The findings of the

PSMA-Addition Trial can give access to Pluvicto for DeNovo or mHSPC
The range of access to Pluvicto (Lu177-PSMA-617) radionuclide treatment is expanding. Great news. The PSMA-Fore trial recently showed that it iis very beneficial before docetaxel chemotherapy in mCRPC. Now a worldwide trial is exploring it in metastatic hormone sensitive PC, including de novo metastatic

Update- Moderna Spikevax
Just to update. Received blood result and all within rang with the exception of Lymphocyte count which 3.1 only slightly over range. CPR 4 g/L, ESR 2. Which rules out PMR flare. So onwards and upwards, definitely downwards with Pred.-so pleased. I am now wondering whether the muscle paralysis I had

Possible NHS misdiagnosis saying clear for HPV when private home test says positive with variant 16 (the test and smear were 14 days apart)
I have tested HPV positive for 2 smears a year apart, the last one was Oct 2023. So I went for my third on 18 Jan this year and have just been given the all clear and told it will repeated in 5 years (which I doubt as I will be 71 then). HOWEVER, I had already done a home test with Medicines Online

Yes I know all about what happens when you get this but as far as I'm

Hi All! I was diagnosed in Nov of 2022 with stage 4b lung cancer and later, in May of 2023 with ovarian cancer. Not a metastisis but a second primary cancer. I’ve been a runner my whole life - almost 60 - and have lived a pretty “clean” life. So…all of this was pretty crazy. I had to go off the targeted
