The struggle is over for my husband at 64
My beautiful husband succumbed to complications from prostate cancer this morning at 4:21 AM. If you look at our profile, we tried everything and finally I gave him some testosterone gel during his last week on earth. Update to a previous post I had about ultrasound and CT not being able to detect if it's a fibroid or a mass.
So this is what I had wrote a few days ago: [i]
I (post-menopausal 52 y/o) went in to urgent care about a month ago with stomach pains. Doctor thought it was a ruptured appendix, but sent me for a CT scan to verify. Turns out it was diverticulitis, but on the CT scan they noticed a a complex cyst

Should I Add Docetaxel to Lupron and Zytiga?
I have been on Lupron and Abiraterone for most of my almost 12 years of treatment. Triplet therapy was not SOC when I was first dx'd. I am just wondering why, Docetaxel isn't routinely added to those of us who started on doublet therapy before we become resistant to the doublet therapy. My guess is that

Side effects from Xtandi monotherapy?
after failing multiple times on regular ADT plus SBRT and finally failing LU– 177 and Provenge, my PSA went on the rise again. I’ve been on mono Xtando for six weeks and not feeling well despite trying to exercise heavily. Going in for bloodwork tomorrow. What kind of labs should I ask for? Anyone

Iodine and Povidone - A Chemistry Lesson
Over the years, we have seen many mentions of povidone-iodine. This video is the first time I have ever come across a proper explanation as to why povidone-iodine is chosen! It then continues with its aim of extracting pure iodine from povidone-iodine. The video could be very boring if you are

I then went on to Olaparib, initially
