Hello. I was diagnosed about a year ago with stage 4 prostate cancer. I was on hormone therapy but that is no longer surprising the cancer. It is in my bones, currently spreading in my pelvic bone and lumbar. I hope to start chemotherapy in the next month. But with my current health I don’t know

Looking for any Info for Recent PC Diagnosis
I’m a 62 year old, recently diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. I’ve been on hormone therapy for 2 weeks and see my oncologist in a week. My PC seems to be aggressive and my PSA is off the charts 885! I would love any positive info I can get.

Treatment update-is SBRT missing the lesions ?
PET scan 8/21 following PSA 54.5 showed numerous bone lesions. Zytiga, prednisone, Eligard knocked PSA to <.064 until 1/23 PET showed new small lesion in left hip. Radiation 35 Gray 5/5 completed 3/15/23 with PSA drop then bounce from 0.24 to 5.9 triggered another PET on 9/6/23 which showed a new metastasis

Ok. So, here goes. I'm really scared of having ovarian cancer. My paternal grandmother passed away quite young from ovarian cancer. Radiation Treatment Decision
Tall Allen or anyone else with helpful information, please advise. I am deciding between two large cancer centers for radiation treatment. My background: PSA was 45 in 2/24, now .04. Lupron/Xtandi taken since 2/24. Gleason score = 9 (4 +5). 75 years old. Cancer Center I - Radiation to prostate

Borderline TSH during cancer treatment
Hi folks! Haven't been on here for some time but in the interim I have been treated for Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia. Had chemo in September last year which was successful (minus a few hiccups like fungal pneumonia that put me in ICU!) and currently on home oral chemo, antifungals and antibiotics daily

Side Effects of Herceptin and Perjeta
I had 1.5 cm local, node negative breast cancer recurrence 3.3 years after my first breast cancer diagnosis. HER2+ PR+ ER+( triple positive). I opted not to have Chemo, but did have targeted therapy for the HER2+ cancer, Herceptin and Perjeta subcutaneous injections for a year. The worst constant side

Non-adt prostate cancer treatment
I was recently diagnosed with stage 3, non-metastatic prostate cancer: Gleason score 7 (half 3/4, half 4/3). I have had both hips previously replaced. I recently had three stents inputted. I don't like the feel and taste of androgen replacement therapy. Does anyone know of a legitimate entity

Pluvicto and PSA
Hi Gents, Prior to starting Pluvicto my PSA was 29.29, after round 1, 23.67, after round 2, 14.47, after round 3, 17.70. I then had a PSMA-PET scan. It showed all bone metastases except one were either receding or gone. After round 4, my PSA is now 21.51. I don’t get it. If almost all my metastases

Updates to de novo metastatic prostate cancer treatment
Q. Is the current standard of care has changed in just one year? Docetaxel may now be considered in low volume and de novo disease together with an AR pathway inhibitor and radiation therapy indications should be extended not only to low volume but also to high-volume de novo disease? A. Yes, there

Help Interpreting PET Scan Results
This is for my son's father (and my best friend). His biopsy showed prostate cancer, Gleason Score 7 (3+4), Grade 2, cancer found in all 12 cores. Yesterday he went in for a PSMA PET Scan and the results were delivered to his online account this morning. His Dr is closed for the holiday weekend so

What does ‘neuroendocrine differentiation' mean in metastatic prostate cancer?
My 71 year old dad has been diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer with neuroendocrine differentiation - he had absolutely zero symptoms until a lymph node on his neck swelled up. It’s metastasised to his lower spine and sternum too. He’s just had his oncology appointment today and they’re going to

Bad reaction after stopping abiraterone?
Have any of you gentlemen had a bad reaction when stopping abiraterone? I’ve been in the current study for LU-PSMA-617 for the past 14 months; it’s evaluating the effectiveness of Pluvicto given at the beginning of the journey before chemo, but i’ve been in the control group. My last bone scan July 12

What would cause spontaneous prostate stimulation?
What would cause spontaneous prostate stimulation while lying on my back? When I lie down, in a few seconds it feels like someone is manually stimulating my prostate. This lasts for hours at a time and I cannot sleep. This started immediately after a nocturnal emission, and I haven't had one since, even
