Targinact v Alcohol?
Targinact - here we go ! Last ditch attempt to free myself of augmenting via Ropinirole, but read the leaflet & it says no alcohol. Anyone have any experience of this as I have had some with Gabapentin & if you have more than a couple of glasses of wine it causes the symptoms to get worse for a while

Moving need help finding a new oncologist
I have been reading this site for a while, but this is my first post. I was diagnosed with BC in 2013, had a mastectomy and reconstruction in 2014. I did not have any chemo or radiation. In June of 2019 I found a lump on my head that was diagnosed as metastatic breast cancer. A scan showed a few spots

PD, Stroke Prevention and Recovery With Melatonin
As though dealing with PD isn't bad enough, PwP are thought to have an increased risk for stroke and a poorer outcome than non PwP, according to the following article : https://academic.oup.com/qjmed/article-abstract/112/4/269/5284930 Previously I've written about some of the health benefits

Sleep Study
For those of you that have PBC and are having problems sleeping, have you undergone a sleep study? And if so, what did you find out? Still having issues sleeping here...I cannot blame it completely on itching, it’s like my sleep clock is messed up. Wondering if a sleep study would help figure it out.

Driving........
My husband was diagnosed with sleep apnoea last year. (Bear with me, this relevant to rls) It is taken very seriously by doctors and the general medical profession as it causes tiredness. He has to comply with everything his consultant says, or he loses his driving license. he wears a mask at night,

*Sensitive* BFP 🥰
Over the moon to be at this milestone. 💗💗This 2ww has been more crazy than normal, I started testing at 7dp 🙈🙈 I've never done this before, but after what happened last time, and what I could feel in my body, I needed to have an incline. I got a faint positive and have been testing every other day

Hello I did a frozen embroyo transfer which was a 5 day blastocyst. I had my beta test done this morning and it came back positive. I have been told by my clinic to continue with my medications as I have been and to do a home pregnancy test on Wednesday I didn’t want to do a home pregnancy test before

Over 40- anyone been to Zita West/Fertility Plus and can PM?
Hi All I have failed my 3rd IVF cycle using OE at Guy’s- they have been amazing and lovely. However, I’m now considering moving to another clinic who specialise in over 40s. Has anyone been in the same situation and used Zita West or Fertility Plus, Harley Street? I know Zita West would want to do

BFP after previous MMC - how to cope
Got a BFP earlier this week after fresh transfer. Hcg was 102 10dp5dt. Was totally delighted but it hasn't lasted for long. Previously had a MMC at 7.5 weeks (after seeing heartbeat at 7 weeks) and now panicking I don't feel sick and it's going to happen again. Any tips for how to cope? I have PCOS

Post surgery
Hi. Had my bilateral mastectomy last week. Was told it went well but the surgeon wasn't sharing much, maybe it was the drugs I was on post surgery and I'm not recalling much! Waiting on pathology report to see how many lymph nodes had cancer and decide on chemo protocol. Pain is not too bad but I am

Bleach-alternative COVID-19 surface disinfectants may pollute indoor air.
The research team found that mopping a floor with a commercially available hydrogen peroxide-based disinfectant raised the level of airborne hydrogen peroxide to more than 600 parts per billion—about 60 per cent of the maximum level permitted for exposure over eight hours, and 600 times the level naturally

One year post mastectomy.
Well one year is arriving. This time last time year I saw my consultant with the results of a second biopsy. I had already decided on a mastectomy and had accepted a date at the time of first biopsy confirmation of Grade 2 breast cancer. The second biopsy also was confirmed cancer and was told I needed
