BFP after previous MMC - how to cope

Got a BFP earlier this week after fresh transfer. Hcg was 102 10dp5dt. Was totally delighted but it hasn't lasted for long. Previously had a MMC at 7.5 weeks (after seeing heartbeat at 7 weeks) and now panicking I don't feel sick and it's going to happen again. Any tips for how to cope? I have PCOS, does this put me at increased risk for another miscarriage? Anyone else not had strong symptoms but been okay?

Hey Kit, firstly congratulations on your BFP, that is wonderful news. I totally appreciate how you feel. I also have PCOS and my second IVF transfer in the summer ended in a MMC. I’m having another transfer in about 10 days and already anxious about another loss. My clinic didn’t say that PCOS caused the loss, just that it was most likely to be chromosomally abnormal and that it doesn’t mean it will happen again. They’ve always said that the vast majority of ladies with PCOS will be able to have babies, it might just take a bit longer to get there. I totally understand your worry but there’s no reason what happened before will happen again. Did you speak to your clinics counsellor? This might help a little. There’s also a good mediation app called mindful IVF that might help xxx

Congratulations 🎉🎉and am sorry for your previous loss.. Pcos didn't affect pregnancy so don't worry about this.. I have Pcos and early previous miscarriage but now alhamdullah I m in 18weeks...so b strong and enjoy blessings of Allah 💖💖
