Hiatus Hernia + Silent Reflux constant discomfort
9 years ago I was diagnosed with
Silent
Reflux
, 5 years ago with a hiatus hernia. The discomfort previously was intermittent. Since last summer it has been constant. I have had 2 x gastroscopy, but the GPs are all about PPIs, which don't work.

Graves blood test / getting proper root cause diagnosis and right treatments
No one has touched my neck for goiter... let alone scanned....even though I am being treated for
silent
reflux
/ LPR due to my saying my voice was going.....the thing that triggered all the blood tests as there was concern of cancer.

Throat pain and swallowing problems
Is this a symptom of sceloderma i don't have any acid
reflux
symptoms, unless it's
silent
reflux
, or pain in my chest. Does anyone else suffer from this type of pain/ sensation in the throat area?

why wouldn't the consultant order a scan of a goiter ( I have confirmed Graves Disease?)
A horse voice was what triggered the testing and thyroid finding in the first place / along with identification of
silent
acid
reflux
( LPR) - and my voice is still not good either. Any thoughts welcome please. Many thanks

He says I have
Silent
Reflux
which explains too much mucus in the throat trouble swallowing waking up during the night feeling like I’m going to choke. I asked what about the eye swelling & he asked if I get migraines?

I have reduced my thyroxine from 75 to 50 which has helped a number of on going symptoms, but created horrendous
silent
acid
reflux
problems that I’ve never had before. After speaking with GP it was decided to trial 75/50 alternate days and see if I can find a middle ground.

Hi from new member and query re Silent Reflux
Hi, just joined but wondering if any people in this community have
silent
reflux
? I have this with very few GORD symptoms. Unlike GORD, I do not cough at night, neither do I have heartburn.

Has anyone navigated Medicare while trying to get the TPIAT?
Hi All 👋 We recently had a patient reach out to us about the TPIAT while on Medicare. Medicare covers the removal of the pancreas, but it does not cover the islet cell transplantation; the patient was quoted $70K for the islet cell transplantation. 🙁 They ask that anyone who has also navigated the

Aristo in my hands!
Silent
reflux
is persisting despite raised bed etc etc. no signs of over medication that I can detect. I’m impatient and impulsive, so keen to get the pill cutter out and have 25mcg at bedtime and see how it goes. Or is that a bad idea? Next test due in 3 weeks….

Ibs symptoms constantly for 2 months
I also suffer with
silent
reflux
which I found out from a camera down to the voice box around 3 weeks ago. The question I'm wanting to ask is, has anyone else suffered ibs symptoms for long periods of time? Also has anyone suffered from
silent
reflux
?

Reflux and Breathing
I also had a Bravo test done which showed acid was getting into my throat and so diagnosed with
silent
reflux
. They put me on Omeprazole but this time 20mg twice a day instead of once. I am not a fan of taking Omeprazole long term so have been taking it on and off when i feel i need it.

Bone density and alendronic acid
A GP I saw tried very hard to get me to take alendronic acid but I have
silent
reflux
and find swallowing tablets difficult - they seem to get lodged in my oesophagus regardless of the quantity of water I drink with them. I pushed to have a DEXA scan which happened on Tuesday.

Lactose Intolerant, Alternatives to Omezrapole?
I have a hiatus hernia and suffer from
silent
reflux
. Month ago started a bad flare with the reflux and a gastritis. I normally control by diet and rely on the Omezrapole only when I have a flare. And then I take twice daily.
