wooo after months of trying I have 100mcg Aristo for my latest prescription š. Pharmacist said it came in by coincidence recently and she put on the top shelf where no one can reach with āreservedā written on it š
Iām in week 5 of my 125mcg trial. Up from 100mcg. Taking Teva but the minor gurgles and burps are getting annoying. Silent reflux is persisting despite raised bed etc etc.
no signs of over medication that I can detect.
Iām impatient and impulsive, so keen to get the pill cutter out and have 25mcg at bedtime and see how it goes. Or is that a bad idea?
Next test due in 3 weeksā¦. Do I continue with Teva till then? Then switch and test in 8 weeks or can I switch now?
Thank you wonderful forum friends š±š¦š±

I have 56 tablets of Aristo 8 weeks at 100mcg 6 and a bit weeks at 125mcg, despite GP agreeing increase to 125mcg before Xmas, the repeat prescription is still only 100mcg on the app/system so as Aristo is 100 mcg tablets the pharmacist suggested path of least resistance to getting these was to click ārepeatā and resolve when next in with GP.
Plenty of Teva to last another 3 weeks but yes a bit impatient to try now itās in my hands.
So if I wait, I can request more in 5 weeks and build stocks after testing and do a proper job of it. Pharmacy is sure they can get more now they had this in and if it suits I can get it specified.
Iāll do that and put off the Roseway T3 appointment for another 8 weeks too. Slowly does it. š±
yes please listen to SlowDragon. I tried an increase too soon from 125 up to 137.5 and it was terrible. I felt very over meditated. Iām back to 125 and will let it stabilise.
Excellent news! This is how it works with my rather brilliant pharmacist, basket with my name on it, she said there is no extra cost to getting Aristo they just have to call Alliance to place the order rather than doing it on screen.... maybe this has changed and it appears on screen now?
Makes sense to wait and like you say build up a reserve... š¤š¤I've been getting on ok with it
thank you, this advice saved me when I ātriedā Accord a few months ago, which lasted only 48 hours and confirmed lactose is a bigger issue for me than I realised. Hmmm tempted but I have enough stocks to finish the 3 weeks Teva AND switch back if Aristo no good so will stick with but thank you for reminding me, I had forgotten about this completely š¬š±
Are you still holding out before starting Aristo? If you find that you like it you can now get it's name Vencamil on your script....what a grim name š®

Yes I held out till after testing yesterday, (7 weeks) started it yesterday morning. 24 hour reportā¦ less burpy, otherwise no noticeable difference yet.
Cuts into 4 easily ā
Have a few weeks of Teva left as recommended just in case plan B turns out less beneficial than plan A š¬
