Sevredol

On gabapentin and Sevredol but not having much effect. Any ideas. Thanks

I am on sevredol fast acting morphine for the pain which is having minimal affect. I am not expecting any improvement by revisiting physio, pain management or ENT. Can anyone think of other ways to help my condition?

I have been prescribed Sevredol (Morphine) 10mg twice a day for breakthrough pain. Recently I have been needing double the amount or more to see me through the day. Is 40mg per day too much and does it have any effects on your stomach/liver/kidneys?

I’m actually taking an additional 4 Sevredol tablets per day to control my pain. My gp is advising I switch to fetanyl patches. Any advice? Anybody made this change or on these patches, your input would be most appreciated. Thanks

I have already taken three lots of sevredol (morphine) for the pain. I have this to use prn for both fibro and nerve pain and I'm on regular gabapentin which really hasn't made much of a difference and I'm considering tapering off it.

I only get 21 dihydracodiene a week that's 3 a day so I've been buying meds from friends, I get sevredol which don't do much and I've tried 250mg tapentadol which were brilliant, one tablet made me able to function the entire day with minimal pain, when I tried to tell my Dr he went nuts and gave me

Hi all So I got some sevredol 10mg I have taken 2 doses still got some pain enough to keep me up.Anyone know how long I have to wait to get better more effective relief? What are others experience s on them?

Got physio on 4th July, just hope that helps, been awake since 5.30am, had 2 sevredol with paracetamol, it's taken the edge off but just can't get comfy enough to sleep, going to phone doctors at 8 to get an appt, will see if they'll give me 30 mg.

Can anyone recommend an alternative to sevredol morphine tablets. My gp has jigged about my meds recently but I'm wanting to change my sevredol as I think my body has got used to it. As you all know fibromyalgia is a damn nightmare to live with,. It just seems to be a new pain everyday lately.

I take sevredol morphine tablets along with amatriptaline and pregabaline,fentynal patches and lidocaine patches. . But I'm feeling I need a med jig. I've not long changed from gabapentin to pregabaline so need to change morphine tablets. Can anyone recommend a sevredol substitute? Tia debbs😃

Well he's upped my fentynal patch from 50mcg to 75mcg, also upped my mor phone (sevredol ) tablets from 20mg 4x daily to 40mg 4x daily. What hubby suggested was just take 30mg for a week then build upto the 40mg the following week, which makes sense.

Could anyone answer if 120mg mst and 50mg of sevredol is a high dose of morphine.i have been on it for 2 years now.thank you for any replies

I have just started taking Longset and Shortet as the MST and Sevredol wasn't working. I get epidural + root block injection, they ease the pain. I am never pain free and if I could turn the clock back I would never have had that first operation.

Pulling/dragging pain ok my left ovary I've been to the gp who prescribed sevredol for the flare up but said if no better to by pass gp and out of hours and go to a and e. It's still as bad today (app was Friday) should I go to hospital? Or let it pass

I would like to know if anyone has had swollen and stiff joints especially the fingers and worse in the mornings as a side effect from morphine (Oramorph and sevredol) ? Many thanks

I have not been able to lift her since :(( I am on high dose of MST, pregablin, naproxen and sevredol for breakthrough pain. Diazapam for spasms. Iv newly been given temazapam to help me get off to sleep.

I've been on various doses of morphine - from codeine & SR MST to oramporph & sevredol - for over 6 years, but I don't think it's working anymore. Well, it definitely isn't working anymore.
