Husband still suffering eosinophilic asthma mentioned but not yet diagnosed.
Hi, my husband has been ill since 27th December, he has had hospital visits and turned away saying he has sinusitis, a cold etc... then was admitted at the end of January. They still haven't diagnosed asthma but said it is likely eosinophilic asthma due to extremely high eosinophils. His symptoms are

Propranolol with asthma
Need advice. Has anyone taken propranolol with asthma before? I would like to start taking them for my palpitations but understand they can effect asthmatics. I haven’t had an asthma attack for about 10 years but still take medication daily for my asthma.

Asthma symptoms
Hello, My son who is nearly 3 has suppected asthma. For the last 10 days he has been stirring in the early hours and struggling with his breathing and is very congested. I am heavily pregnant and find I’m not sleeping well because I’m aware of his noisy breathing. I sit up with him sometimes until it

Problems getting antihistamines
So I suffer from
severe
hay fever and
asthma
triggered by allergies, and take Benadryl Acrivastine antihistamines 3x a day... they are available over the counter but due to the cost of them, allergies being a big trigger for my asthma and the fact that I take them for most of the year, my GP prescribed

Longer courses of Prednisolone
After a 3 weeks of 5 day course stop restart then 5 days then stop for one and had to restart 5 days and a reducing down dose. I have been thinking that 5 days of prednsiolone is not enough for me. However its hard to tell as I think it depends of the trigger laryngitis and then a virus plus hayfever

Is it really asthma ?
I'm new to this forum and I've decided to post my questions here because I've been struggling to breathe for 2 months and it's not getting any better. Before I start, I should probably mention that I used to have asthma when I was very little until age 5 and I suffer from allergies. But after that age

Brittle asthma battle
I am under a consultant at the hospital and also a
severe
asthma
unit. I have been diagnosed VCD and dysfunctional breathing but I am also very atopic and reacted to nearly everything on my allergy testing.

have you ever just cried out of frustration
I've been having problems with my
asthma
the past few days and
severe
upper back/chest pain to go with it. I didnt want to go to the doctors because ( quite honestly) I hate doctors. They almost never take me seriously and make me feel like I'm just making it all up.

Excessive mucous production
About 3 years ago, I was diagnosed with late onset
asthma
and moderate/
severe
fixed small airways obstruction, after 6 years of incessant winter colds and a little chest tightness. Symbicort seems to have sorted those problems, but I tend to get excessive mucous production, though it's quite thin.

SAFS
Hello Has anyone here been diagnosed with SAFS (
severe
asthma
with fungal sensitivity)? I've wondered for a while if I have this since I fit the criteria: I'm on Step 5 asthma treatment, my Ige is less than 1000 but I always have raised reaction to Aspergillius.

Recently diagnosed with asthma and I need help!
I was newly diagnosed with asthma after a pregnancy. Before the diagnosis I had a battery of tests done. PFT showed significant obstructive airway disease. Stress test showed a normal heart. Holter monitor showed some tachycardia. The pulmonologist has me on Flovent and I generally don’t need my rescue
