I haven’t been diagnosed long with asthma, I have got fostair inhaler been on it 2 months and I’m now starting to get hoarseness and little dry throat. I have noticed I have a little cough. Dental treatment abroad and travel insurance w/ asthma cover
My mum's due to go to Turkey for dental implant treatment. She has brittle asthma, albeit, controlled. I've found an insurer for the dental aspect, but they won't cover for asthma. Can anybody please give me any suggestions and guidance on what to do? Thank you.

Asthma and exercise question
Hi all, so I just have a few questions about exercise and asthma if anyone can help. I am on inhalers for my asthma and I'm pretty overweight so I want to loose about 4 stone to get me back down to healthier weight. How would it be to best proceed with cardio training with asthma? I am pretty unfit

Coughing Fits
Hello I'm in a bit of unchartered territory at the moment so would really appreciate some advice from fellow sufferers who may have more experience dealing with it. I was diagnosed with asthma as a baby and had it throughout childhood. When I reached my teens it vastly improved to the point I didn't

Asthma hospital referral
Morning all, I've been referred to the hospital as my gp is struggling to keep my asthma under control. I've been asked not to take my medication beforehand... can anyone tell me what to expect from the appointment... other than a wheezy morning... thanks

O2 saturation and heart rate
High IgE, high Eos, prior diagnosis of
asthma
, attending a
severe
asthma
clinic and prior Xolair treatments are hard to explain while having an asthma attack, and they do not check records. I understand that they have to make judgement calls, and when I collapse they finally give me O2 and nebs.

Lap cancelled an hour before going down
Hi warriors, I'm feeling pretty low right now and needed somewhere to vent... I was due to have my lap yesterday to get rid of the superficial endo and endometrioma. (I have stage 4 but we decided not to touch the bowel stuff yet because of fertility). Unfortunately once I was there, and in my gown

Back to school 🧑🏫
Making sure your child is managing their asthma well is important throughout the year but especially so after the long school holidays. Preventer routines can sometimes be disrupted during the summer break and child asthma action plans can go out of date. Take a look at our handy reminder of top tips

People who manage their asthma can improve their chances against COVID-19
Asthmatics who have their illness well under control have less
severe
COVID-19 outcomes than those with uncontrolled
asthma
, according to a large study conducted by USC and Kaiser Permanente Southern California.

Smoked with Asthma, Duh 🤦🏻♂️Did you?
Sadly if my
asthma
had have been more
severe
I may have never smoked. I had a difficult relationship with my strict and abusive father, I rebelled against him and foolishly began smoking @ 17.

Does anyone have any suggestions for effective back pain relief. As an asthma sufferer I am unable to take any NSAID products, including ibuprofen gel or tablets I am currently taking paracetamol / codine but with little effect. Many thanks

The effect is not

though I can tell it is affecting my
asthma
in subtle ways.I am taking OTC antihistamines and have enquired at my surgery if it's possible to take prescription ones( awaiting reply) . I take peak flow readings everyday.

New on this forum! I got some questions about asthma and hyperventilation syndrome
Hello there, I am new here! In fact, I have been diagnosed with asthma last year, and I am so unexperienced about it, that's why I have a few questions. I'll be grateful if some of you could answer to them! :) So here's my little story: I have been diagnosed with asthma last year and for the first three
