Bruising from high dose steroid inhaler
Also ask my GP if I can be referred to a
severe
asthma
clinic at my local hospital (GPs can do this). The possible
severe
asthma
I may have is because I am highly allergic to house dust mite and I could have a phenotype of asthma. Any thoughts or advice please

Excessive dynamic airway collapse
I have
severe
asthma
and mild bronchiectasis but have now been diagnosed with excessive dynamic airway collapse. If I do anything remotely energetic, my windpipe goes from 16mm breathing in to 5mm trying to breathe out - this then takes a long while to settle and is exhausting.

Congestion
I had a few days of, for me,
severe
asthma
, which was sorted out with a short course of prednisolone. I just cannot seem to get rid of the congestion, keeping me awake at night and I am so tired. I had a sputum test done a month ago which was clear, allegedly.

Bronchiectasis
I have had
severe
asthma
for 32 years together with many chest infections and a bout of pneumonia, and these have left irreparable damage to my lungs. The Consultant has mentioned a bronchoscopy the thought of which terrifies me , has anyone any experience of this ?

Omeprazole to help asthma and post nasal drip.
Has anyone else been prescribed Omeprazole in case their asthma and throat congestion is caused by acid reflux? I have been taking it for 2 weeks with no difference in symptoms. I was wondering how long it was before anyone saw an improvement as I don't know whether to order more or give them up.

GP/Specialist appointments
I am 70 years old and have had asthma for most of my life. I moved from Lancaster in 2010, where I had a fantastic Dr and fully qualified asthma nurse. I now live in the far west of Cornwall and for several reasons need to see a GP. And that is where the problem lies. In February I had a bad fall and

Defining well controlled asthma
Hi all. I’ve looked around online as to what well controlled asthma is because that’s what we’re supposed to be aiming for, right? Here’s the gist of what I’ve found:- • Few to no symptoms day or night • Perform daily activities without symptoms • Sleeping well • Normal (for you
