Symptoms
Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone experiences MS like symptoms? Weakness in arms and legs, internal tremors, emotional/mental issues. I almost have seizure like activity in my brain though I don’t have convulsions or anything. I had a Brain MRI 11 months ago. I had full blood work, head cat scan

The start of my journey
My Dr was doing urine samples monthly for about 2 years finally sent me to nephrologist and found out my GFR was 18 he did a biopsy and I have membranous which is so severe no treatment will help, it was very depressing because I never missed an appointment. I have a wonderful and caring nephrologist

High CRP but GP says ok
Two weeks ago I began to feel ill, bad stomach and back pain. Lay on sofa gently moaning to my dog’s bewilderment. I took a urine sample to surgery on 8th October which showed blood and leucocytes. The nurse took some blood. I heard nothing but I raised pred from 5 to 6. Just looked on my NHS site

Methotrexate a cause for UTI??
I had symptoms of a UTI back in July. Usual procedure followed. Stop Mxt take antibiotics, but it didn't clear up. My GP said that a rare side effect of Mxt is inflammation of the bladder and as urine test didn't show infection it could be my meds. At first rheumatology would have none of it and told

Co2 retention
Hi all, can anyone advise on how to keep Co2 levels down ? My husband was rushed to hospital 18 months ago in a very serious condition due to a build up of Co2 . We were told at the time there is no way of knowing when this is happening ( other than blood tests) and that it may or may not happen again

Breast implant illness and lung/breathing problems
Hello, I am new here. I am so glad I stumbled onto this group! About 5 years ago I noticed I was short of breathe going up stairs and at the same time my stomach would bloat to make me look about 6 months pregnant. It was like the air that was supposed to go into my lungs was going to my stomach. Then

Results : Dietary and lifestyle changes impacting blood and urine parameters
I’ve just had blood and urine tests done after 3 months of a vegetarian / almost vegan diet. I wasn’t allowing myself to get too caught up with expectations but have seen some good improvements that I think are worth highlighting and discussing. Slight edit: this post should also have noted I’ve focussed

Kidney pain for months
Hi everyone, I have been dealing with bilateral kidney pain for seven months now and am in desperate need for help/advice. From June 2020 to February 2021 I had six UTI's all treated with cranberry juice and lots of water. Did feel occasional twinges in the left kidney after the fifth one but mostly

Day 21 post circumcision, skin rolling
Day 21 post surgery. When flaccid I used to have glans and shaft (3-4 in) before surgery but now can only see glans and doughnut like skin below it. The penis is pressed when I wear underwear, it looks like it goes in and the rolled skin covers almost the lower half of it, although the suture line is

Excessive white blood cells in test.
Hi, I have one kidney due to cancer. I have very serious kidney infections on the remaining kidney. The recent urine tests showed my white blood cell count to be 700,000. When the max should be 10,000. Is this very serious? If so, who should I see?

Concerns about kidney disease
I recently had my yearly physical .... I am 66 year old female.....with a additional microalbumine test I requested due to flank pain. All my tests came back fairly normal. Creatinine .7, BUN 17, GFR 90. My regular urine test was negative for everything ....But the micro albumin test revealed some

Is it possible to develop secondary hypo whilst treated for hashi's?
Hi I haven't been on here for a while and sorry its late/early. I worked really hard getting my thyroid and vitamin deficiencies treated when I was first diagnosed in 2017. I am currently taking 100mcg levo and 10mcg t3 and have been stable on that dose for a good while. Probably around 3 years+ now

I'm getting a bit worried about loose stools every morning
Sorry about gross image. This is pretty much what my poo looks like every morning. I'm pretty regular but I do find that I need to go within a few minutes of getting up and it's often quite urgent. If I go to examine the stool it pretty much falls apart and turns the water in the toilet bowl muddy. I

Folic Acid And Other Bloods
Yesterday I was emailed the results of my multiple blood tests (the massive Clopidogrel bruise is now fading) and my single urine test. Basically all fine but my HbA1c could be a few points lower, and my total cholesterol and my LDL whilst well within range are up slightly. Whilst I am now off iron tablets

Vinpocetine regulates levels of circulating TLRs in Parkinson's disease patients 2019
I started today asking "what can I remove from my stack?" And of course, now I am probably adding to my stack: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/328251573_Vinpocetine_regulates_levels_of_circulating_TLRs_in_Parkinson%27s_disease_patients As close as I can tell, it looks like the dosing was 20

Update on pain in right testicle
So I’ve had pain in my right testicle since this past Friday. I went to the ER and had a ultrasound and urine test and both came back completely fine and normal. I followed up with my primary care doctor and he prescribed me ibuprofen and a steroid. And if it doesn’t get better which it hasn’t improved
