My doctor changed my inhaler from Atimos modulite to
Serevent
. I've been using it for two days. My question is how long do you have to use
serevent
for it to take full effect? Have any of you had experience with this inhaler? Thank you for all your replies.

Flixotide causing anxiety?
I have tried other treatments which were a no go, eg montelukast gave me a rash, LABAs like
serevent
which made my heart thump, and anything propelled with alcohol is ruled out. My asthma is well controlled which is the good news.

Help/advice for my 4yo please!!
We visited the DR today as she’s under their complex case needs due to all of this and other things and has now been put on
accuhaler in the hopes that this will work and has been referred for X-rays also as they cannot understand why nothing really seems to be helping.

Excessive mucous
Had 10 days without anything other than inhalers (
serevent
and salbutamol) Christmas day cough was worse and yesterday had to go back to yet another rexcue pack. My chest sounds clear during mid day time and morning is the worst and ev ening.

At the moment she carries a salbutamol inhaler for flare ups and uses
serevent
and ciclesonide (Alvesco) inhalers and is on itraconazole for an aspergillus growth in one of her lungs.

Anybody else get inner ear problems with Relvar plus Incruse inhalers?
Having had similar issues on Fostair, Symbicort, Flutiform,
Serevent
, or indeed anything with a LABA in it I suspect that I am just over sensitive to it.

Fostair and tremors
I found that when I went back to my previous treatment of
Serevent
and Qvar the tremors went away, but I am told there are no combination inhalers that have a different long acting beta agonist, is this true?

Breathless
Despite being on three different inhalers Bricanyl, Pulmicourt and
Serevent
, I needed regular nebulisers and had several admissions to hospital each year. After six months of being on Hydroxychloroquine the asthma just stopped??

Coping not cured!
A few years ago I was put on 2 daily preventatives -
Serevent
and Flixotide which certainly helped. The pharmaceutical company then joined them together as Seretide and I have never looked back. Now I am so well that very often I forget to take the Ventolin inhaler with me when going out.

Inhaler list, confused
I take
serevent
and clenil, I know
serevent
is not on the list but clenil is. I have 100mcg but I take that 4 puffs morning and 4 evening. So 800mcg a day or is it only if the actual inhaler is 250mcg? Does that put me in the at risk group that should be shielding?

Self-isolate ?
I am 65 years old and take Qvar inhaler 2 puffs twice a day along with
Serevent
inhaler 2 puffs twice a day plus 1 Montelucast tablet at night. Do I self isolate ? The info is confusing.

I was previously taking
Serevent
and Beclomethasone. Does anyone take this and if so, is it a good inhaler to be on/better than the 2 i was on previously? I have had Asthma for 30 years and only ever tried one other inhaler, than my 2 old ones. Thanks :) Any info you have would be appreciated!

Just to say Hi Newbie here.
Hi I have been a long term asthmatic and I was wondering if people could recommend a light weight portable nebuliser going on holiday soon and was wondering which was the best for ventolin and
serevent
nebules . If you have any experience with them good or bad let me know.

Itchy eyes anyone?
I used to be on
serevent
then sere tide before they moved me across to flutiform. Both the flutiform and montelukast were introduced at the same time and are fairly recent. Not sure if it is either or none of these and not sure if it is entirely unrelated. Anybody?
