Halleluyah! Doc finally listened and changed my meds
I've felt great, until I had to take my Clenil and
Serevent
twice a day, then I would get asthma symptoms that would take a couple of hours to settle. I've had issues with
Serevent
anyway and have been on and off it a couple of times.

Sometimes I get these 'hyper spikes' from the steroids
In the past month I have also started on
serevent
- green accuhaler - one puff twice daily. Sometimes when I am driving I feel that I am going to explode almost as if my blood pressure was rising and, well, I am just going to explode.

Amazing Asthma UK Nurses
She then asked what I was on and noticed I was being prescribed
serevent
without a steroid inhaler, which is against NICE guidelines. She advised me to go back to the GP and challenge her on it.

Do I have asthma? Help please.
The GP says it's asthma (or claims it's a virus) and has tried me on Becatide, Salbutamol and now
Serevent
/Singulair too. Thing is I'm not totally convinced I have asthma.

Peak flow confusion
Different medication - the earlier of the 2-week ones is a trial of Clenil 800 mcg/day, the second Clenil 800 mcg/day plus
Serevent
50 mcg/day. I noticed no improvement in symptoms with either of these, and these diaries were what led my previous gen resp consultant to say it wasn't asthma.

All this superfluous medication - what do I do with it?
There are: 3 ventolin evohalers (like to have spares) 2 Clenil Modulite evohalers (2 different strengths) 1
Serevent
Evohaler 1 Flixotide Evohaler 2 boxes of Singulair It seems so wasteful, and being a bit of an ecowarrior, I'm looking for some responsible way of putting them to use, rather than just

Keeping a diary - feeling grumpy
We're trying
Serevent
again, as I pointed out that I had had a short spell of dizziness quite a while after he took me off it, so he suggested the previous spell could have been unrelated to the
Serevent
.

How long is Ventolin meant to last?!
He's asked me to try
Serevent
again, but said that Ventolin isn't meant to last 4 hours, it only lasts about 1 usually. I am very confused by this.

Looking for people like me
Despite increasing becotide, three courses of pred through the year,
serevent
and spiriva, I now get crippling chest tightness and cough from any kind of exertion. I can't do anything really so I've been off work for a few weeks.

How long until I notice something?
My dr has just taken me off seretide 125mcg and put me on to beclometason 100 (4 puffs twice a day) with
serevent
50 (1 puff twice a day) in a attempt to settle breathing down. I've been using these new inhalers for about 4 days now.

First time at A&E - was scary (sorry, bit long)
I told them I reacted badly to the green inhaler, and later on when I was a bit more lucid, I noticed they'd put a red band on my arm with the word
Serevent
on it. It SHOULD have said Salmeterol but they told me when they asked if it was
Serevent
I said yes.

Need to improve my relationship with my new consultant. Advice?
A previous consultant put me on spiriva,
serevent
and singulair, and I've been very slowly getting better over the last four months.

Steroid use and cataracts
Having recently lost my battle to stay on separate
serevent
and flixtotide inhalers, I've given in to my consultants advice to change to seretide and flixtotide acculahers. They do seem to be working fine although I am still on a very high dose of flixotide (1000mcs) and 15mgs prednisolone.

Hi
Have today been put on seretide 250 25 2x 2x after
serevent
? 2x2x plus 5x 2x of clenil did not kill the exercise asthma symptoms although worked well for the day to day and night asthma. Cross fingers it works although beginning to realise winter is a bugger and it has barely been cold!

Asthma- if you want to be a paramedic
I guess this will include, Becotide,
Serevent
, Ventolin. Seretide, Pred. ect and i think that this is toatlly impossible and outragious, how can a 'real' asthmatic go without inhalers, its complete health risk, well if the NHS want to spend more money on Nebs and doctors time then go ahead.
