long term use of inhalers? is it safe?
I'm currently on beclomethasone,
serevent
and salbutamol due to asthma triggered by highly allergic reaction to house dust mites and pet allergy. Is there anyone out there that has been using them for a long time, and if so, is there any repurcussions on other areas of your health?

Asthma and Running and running out of puff
I went to see the asthma nurse, and she put me on
serevent
as well as my becotide. I have been on this for about 2 weeks now. I have still not noticed an improvement. I did not really realise how bad my episodes where until I started taking peak flows.

Scan my chest
I am also using the brown and blue inhalers and a green inhaler called
Serevent
Accuhaler which has reduced my coughing to 5-10 times a day which before was 10 - 15. Everytime i breath in i feel my chests get tighter and results in a very small pain.

Broncho-pulmonary aspergillosis
Since then i haven't really felt well- my lung functions tests have gone up the spout and I'm now back on 20mgs prednisolone, as well as
serevent
and flixotide inhalers and now singulair at night. I'm also taking an anti-histamine because I have had hay fever more severely than ever this year.

Cant get to sleep!
Anyone got any ideas as to why this might be - do you think its meds related - it started about the same time as I got put on
Serevent
or coincidence? Any ideas how I can get the body clock re-set? Thanks in advance!

So last week my cardiologist asked me to go off of

Pet Dog wanted
My son has mild asthma and is on
serevent
daily (which I am told should not be used on its own without a steroid, but thats another issue). We so desperately want a pet dog for our family to enjoy but are so worried that we don't want to make his asthma worse or trigger an attack.

Just need some advice
Basically, I was on symbicort 200/6, saw GP, was changed to Seretide, then to beclomethasone with
serevent
, then back to symbicort but the 400/12. Was taking 2 puffs twice a day and for a bit, was ok, got worse again, so dr put me on singulair.
