Can someone clear this up for me please? I take serevent and clenil, I know serevent is not on the list but clenil is. I have 100mcg but I take that 4 puffs morning and 4 evening. So 800mcg a day or is it only if the actual inhaler is 250mcg?
Does that put me in the at risk group that should be shielding? I work front line nhs so I am unsure what to do. I am expecting a call from occupational health this week and want to have all the correct information.
Thanks

The list says 250mcg at 2 puffs twice a day - so 1000mcg total. You're taking 800mcg daily, so you're below that. I think you'd need to be on the higher dose (1000mcg) to fall into the shielding group, but you should still be practising strict social distancing as someone who is eligible for the flu vaccine. So although you're not in the 12 week shielding group, you do still need to be distancing as much as possible. This is definitely something to raise with occupational health, as you are at an increased risk compared to the general population, even though you're not highest risk.
Personally, I don't think which inhaler or dose you take, if you are anxious and it is possible for you to do so, self isolate anyway. If the country goes into lockdown, we all may have to anyway. Just make sur you stay safe. XX
