People on NDT and Levo combo - has this raised your ft4 and made you feel better?
Hey everyone, I have been tweaking my doses the last while, arrived again at Armour only at 2.88 grains with results (tested after 6 weeks+): Tsh = 0.04 Ft4 = 15.8 (12-22) 38% Ft3 = 6.5 (3.1-6.8) 92% Tests done after 24 hours as I'm unable to split, feeling unwell when dividing the dose. Help with blood test results pls
Hi there Would be most grateful for any advice pls - I have been on HRT for nearly 5 months. I still have regular periods (i'm 48) but the HRT was prescribed because my hormonal headaches are getting so much worse so we are assuming I am perimenopausal. I'm on HRT patches (Estraderm MX 50 patches (

TSH and SHBG
Does anyone know much about SHBG please? I’ve had a few blood tests and all coming back with high SHBG levels (over 200 but does not state how much over as the lab just reports ‘over’). Doc is fixating on my TSH level (0.005) saying they think I’m over medicated but my T3 and T4 are within range and

5th attempt - first frozen embryo transfer on 28th March
So the 2WW is with us after our first frozen embryo transfer yesterday. It’s been a mediated cycle and the first one we’ve used blood thinners and steroids. Also on extra progesterone this time so on lubion injections once a day as well as the pessaries 3 times a day. Taking oestrogen 4 times a day also

6th BFN
Title says it all. How much of this heartbreak can a person take! It really leaves very little hope of this ever working. Everything possible thrown at this transfer - PG tested embryos, increased progesterone, steroids and intralipids, clexane and aspirin, ERA, probiotics, acupuncture etc etc I know

Strange result
Hi lovely people, Complicated story following.. I have recently come off my NDT (thyrogold) as requested by new doc for testing as I was self medicating. I had been on thyrogold for two years and got myself well but had a return in symptoms and thought I would have one last stab at an official diagnosis

Online consultation
Would love to switch meds from levothroxine to NDT but I need guidance. It's impossible to find guidance in Malta so I am wondering if anyone can help by recommending someone in the UK who can do online consultations? Many thanks in advance

Iodine contrast for a CT scan with Hashimoto's and reduced T3/T4 after ruptured ovarian cyst
Good afternoon! This morning I attended a hospital appointment for a CT scan to investigate the cause of my tinnitus. I didn't realise until today that I would need to be given an iodine contrast, which was administered during the scan via a cannula. Since having this done I have started to become concerned

Adenomyosis NI
Stage 4 IDE/RVE, multiple laps, now feeling a different kind of pain for past 2 years and believe it is likely to be adenomyosis based on symptoms. Is there anyone with adeno who has found a consultant in Northern Ireland (NI) who knows about adenomyosis? Or even what tests I could be asking for? General

Endocrinology departments that refuse to monitor patients who are taking NDT

Why I can't increase the dose?
I have noticed over time that my values are below half the range, whether I take, ndt or synthetic. My endo thinks I could increase the dose but I don't feel well if I push the dose over the 125mcg levo(and some T3) or 3grains ndt Thyroid-s. My ft4 and ft3 are less than half. Vits and minerals are ok

Recurring Chronic Endometrisis, anyone else had problems getting rid of this?🤯
Hi 👋 I suffered two miscarriages last fall, so before our next cycle I’ve had a new biopsy of the uterus lining and again it’s showing substantial chronic endometrisis. The test I took is similar to the EMMA/ALICE test but my test only shows if there is a high number of plasma cells which means there

Update
Hi everyone, I hope you've all been well, and have been enjoying the lovely weather we've been having lately. Firstly, I just wanted to say the biggest thank you for all of the supportive words that were left on my last post. I know that I've already made quite a few like them in the past, but the kindness
