Back in 2015 I joined this site after my thyroidectomy and after taking the brilliant advice on here I have been well for over seven years. Now due to a dud batch of Thyroid s I have decided to change to Levo plus T3.
I have been taking 2.25 grains per day split into twice a day which has keep me well.
I need advice please. I think that this amount gives me 88mcg of T4 and about 20 of T3 everyday.
My last blood taken in April were TSH 0.01 (0.27 = 4.20)
FT4 19.70 (12 - 22 )
FT3 6.06 (3.10 - 6.80)
I am not sure how to start and what amount to begin with I was thinking about 75 mcg and 100mcg of Levo alternate days and T3 25 mcg split into two doses per day
How does that sound? I only have about 7 days worth of the old NDT left so need to start A.S.AP Thank you

If it was me I'd err on the side of caution and take a little less equivalent to start with and see how I feel, give it a few weeks for levels to settle then add more if necessary. I'd start with 75mcg Levo and 15mcg T3, or if your T3 is 25mcg dose I'd take 18.75mcg. I would prefer that than to risk being overmedicated and having to reduce.
Will you keep us posted how you get on with the transition please? I am on day two of Thyroid S and not feeling too snappy. That said it might be early days, I hope so. Otherwise I will have to do what you are doing.
