i had a totally hysterectomy 1st April and it took me a long time to settle on HRT as I’m 35 who had pmdd anyway and osteoporosis however I was settled using the Lenzetto spray and progesterone tablet however I found during covid it attacked my weakest areas and blocked the absorption of the HRT flaring like previous end and still feels like I’m permanently on my period the old pains and nerve issues as now I am absorbing the HRT and it’s been too strong. I’ve learnt and dropped the oestrogen down so hopefully it will settle. The covid gave me violent liquid toilet issues so I can see why it would of stopped me absorbing it along with my body fighting the virus.
has anyone else had this issue not just HRT but your contraceptive pills etc causing endo to flare?
just feel like I’m going mad xx

I also went back to full menopause symptoms with spots on my chin which I never get only pre period before hysterectomy, crawling skin, not sleeping, burning up so it’s been a rollercoaster as I had just got it settled prior to covid messing it all up.
HRT for me got upset by first Covid vaccine ( which was a disaster but hey …) and it’s taken quite the time to get it back on track. I’ve found that the hormone upset affected my inflammation levels badly and diarrhoea for months which only caused more inflammation still. I’ve found it essential for me to do a number of things - Omega 3 with good levels of EPA and DHA daily, a really top notch probiotic, milk thistle extract to help the liver detox, going lactose free with the dairy and hefty pelvic core recovery physio. It’s all settling finally after a few months of hard graft . All of them key movers along with drinking 3 litres of water daily ( just water !) and other drinks on top ( don’t need much of those tbh)
Thank you so much that is a lovely message of support something that I needed as it’s so hard going back to square one with the hrt but I’ve been sensible gone back to a quarter of a patch as it’s too much of a shock for my system and added a spray of the Lenzetto yesterday as I know a quarter of a 75 patch isn’t enough for my age and osteoporosis. I was doing ok but I felt myself get the crawling skin and just felt numb again but the added one spray gave me a lift. I have been doing that lots of fruit and I have ginger in everything now to help with the nausea and I have two walks a day however I don’t think I will have the afternoon one today in the dead heat but I always make sure I get one lovely walk and take deep breath’s all the way focusing on the nature the sound of the birds and this beautiful fountain, the flowers the sky and keep the deep breathing going and it makes me feel calmer. I did panic yesterday and I’ve been getting such bad stomach pains and guts and I have my old left side pain back where my main bowel endo was and that really scares me but as soon as I got covid it seemed to go for the surgery areas and attack them made them really hurt so I need to hope it will all calm down in time. I have bowel issues anyway and it was interesting how covid didn’t even touch my chest it went all to my guts and back plus the sickness and splitting head but zero cough just a slight one in the last few days of it but that was more the snot dripping down onto my chest (sorry about that info).
Thank you for your kindness and words of support I’m trying my best and only we know our bodies so I’m trying to listen and adjust the hrt accordingly and try not to panic as I always worry having high oestrogen hrt with previous endo so starting again on a lower dose is a good thing so I’m focusing on that.
So glad I found this website for support as we cannot rely on doctors it’s through here that’s got me through everything so far so thank you for taking the time to care and reply!
Keep cool and thank you so much you made my day xx
