Burning lungs when/after exercising. Anyone got suggestions?
I was diagnosed as asthmatic roughly one year ago, prior to which I was exercising 5 days a week. Following numerous medicine combinations, I finally got my asthma under control with Seretide 250 and Montelukast. I am now able to exercise regularly, however I have had a burning sensation almost every

Fostair
Fostair etc - Fostair not effective - changed back to Seretide on a daily dose - quite sufficient along with Ventolin if required.

Can anyone recommend a respiratory clinic
I live in Bristol. I’m 48 and have adult onset asthma. I don’t know whether I had Covid in January but my chest has been horrible since then. Wheezy, with bad mucous plugs. I spend a half hour every day trying to bring stuff up. My chest and throat are so sore. I’m on seretide 375 bd but that’s not

Adult-onset asthma and Cushing
Hi all! Firstly I'm Asian and not from UK, but we don't have forums like these in my country. Just would like some advice on current situation. I had adult onset asthma since start of 2019 and it became so bad I would wake up at 3am breathless and vomiting. I was placed on Seretide 25/50, 2 in morning

Chest pain when lying or leaning
Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with Asthma and am gradually gaining control over my symptoms. I am on Seretide 125 2 x am and pm, Montelukast and Fexofenadine. The right side of my chest feels very sore and cramped if I lie on my side or stomach or lean on it e.g. on a sofa. Any thoughts appreciated

New to Fostair 100/6
Hi everyone. Just looking for advice! I’ve started on a new inhaler (from seretide to fostair). My consultant has told me to take 2 puffs 4x a day for 2 weeks, then 2 puffs 3x a day for 2 weeks then eventually 2 puffs twice a day then possibly a little less. I’m just wondering if I’m having side effects

Bad mood, irritable, fatigued and restless
I’ve been struggling with a flare for about 2 weeks now. I had a chat with my GP on Fri morning who has recommended I temporarily up my preventer dose. On Friday night my PF dropped into the amber which is unusual. As a general rule my PF doesn’t drop. The only time I can remember it happening was just

From Fostair to Symbicort
Hi, I’m confused. I was on Fostair 200/6 for two years after being on Seretide 250 for ages and it was working ok. Last few weeks I’ve been having daily symptoms. Nothing major, but constant and irritating. I spoke to my asthma nurse and she put me on Symbicort 200/6 instead. I asked her if this was

Relvar?
I have been on seretide for years and doctor changed me to Fostair which did not work so back to seretide. I know some drugs work better than others for some people. Was wondering what the latest steroid inhalers are and opinions of Relvar which I had not heard of.

Why seretide is the first course of action for asthma...Why not some steroid free treatment to start with?
Hi everyone! I am new to asthmatic life! My issue started with heart palpitations and acidity, got nexium then later I started feeling SOB, initially Dr. Said it's bronchitis and then gerd induced asthma and now asthma. My question is that do I need to stay on seretide course because I cannot differentiate

Seretide 250 to fostair
So I had a telephone consultation on Monday with the respiratory consultant and we agreed that my asthma is not controlled. So he decided to change my inhaler from seretide to fostair. I have a bit of an odd question for anyone that has been on both. When I take my seretide inhaler, it really speeds
