B12 Advice please.
Hi All I am still looking for an answer for aching muscles, which I've had for the last 3+ years now, so I've come on this forum. 90% of the aches are in the vastus medialis, as I am a keen cyclist. I am also hypothyroid and on NDT. I am also asthmatic, on seretide. My last 4 Medichecks Active B12 results

Seretide Accuhaler versus normal puffer inhaler
Hi Am not well at moment and doctor has changed my seretide 250 inhaler - 2 puffs twice a day - to seretide 500 accuhaler - 1 puff twice a day without saying why. Spoken to asthma uk nurse and she wanted to know why as, I think she said, the accuhaler is a powder dispersal and different from puffer

Low temperature, asthmatic probably recovering from Covid
I'm sick for 5 weeks, probably from covid. Had 2 weeks of high temps 37.7 - 38 and over. Then a week of normal, but the last 10 days I'm finding it really hard to keep my temperature over 35. I've had all the covid symptoms and am still breathless, very pale and feeling tight all time time. Take montelukast

Hi
Hi, I’ve just found this group. I have mild bronchiectasis- diagnosed in 2006. Since then I have been well controlled until about a couple of years ago. As I rarely saw my GP I had to ‘fight’ to get referred back to the chest clinic for a review. I had my meds tweaked & was changed from Seretide to

Seretide prescribed for copd, or not so... anymore?
I've posted before that I am having severe problems with fostair (severe headaches once a week or so, about 24 hrs on average, muscle fatigue, major weight gain). When i was on seretide it worked well respiratory-wise and with no side-effects and so I would dearly love to know if it is still prescribed

Received shielding letter, unsure why.
I'm currently very confused and unsure. I have what I thought was mild asthma. I've never had an attack, never been admitted to hospital or given oxygen. My symptoms are well controlled during the day, however I have been seeing a specialist as I wake during the night feeling breathless. I had several

Steroid Skin?
Since taking Seretide, I have developed very itchy, scaly & sore eczema type patches on my left hand and left leg. A bit of research shows that this could be caused by the steroids. I have been putting doctor prescribed Betnovate on, but a) it’s not helping and b) if caused by steroids it seems a bit

My Asthma isn't controlled of recent. I am confused
I feel shortness of breath. My seretide and ventolin inhaler aren't suppressing my symptoms as it will on a normal day. I can't go out as a result of covid 19, does anyone else knows what can suppress it? I am based in Nigeria

Peakflow
Hi I am being more cautious than normal with my asthma and mor engaged with measuring peakflow. A bit of history, I used to be really chronic and severe in my early 20s but over the years I am more acute (difficult) couple of weeks attacks with extra steroids and sometimes antibiotics a year, then I

Clarification on self isolation
Hi, I take a prescribed steroid seretide inhaler but there’s no clarity in whether this falls under the 12 week self isolation category. I’ve called my doctor and they are not giving any advice and I’ve not received any notice from the NHS. I done deem my self to be severe asthmatic as I don’t suffer

Sore throat side effect
Hi all, I recently got a generic version of Seretide - usually I get the branded version. I’ve had an awful sore throat since switching. At first I thought I was ill but the rest of me feels fine and I have no other symptoms. It’s been consistently sore for about 2 weeks now. Has anyone experienced sore

Reliever spray without lactose - help please
I am looking for a recommendation for a lactose-free reliever spray. My Bricanyl spray makes me feel terrible. Do they exist? My doctor says not. I am really tight and don’t know what to do. Sorry for the rambling explanation I am not feeling great. Thank you. (Long version why: I used to have poorly

Seretide v Fostair
Going to the GP today as I have found Seretide has become less effective to no effect in controlling my asthma which to be honest is being a bit bothersome of late.I have noticed more conversations regarding Fostair. Wondering what peoples experience is with this inhaler and any side effects?
