Hi there, I am on seretide evohaler 250 x 4 and recently added on spiriva respimat and montelukast (which have been a game changer in stablising things) after worsening chronic asthma. Am in process of getting comprehensive lung tests under a a consultant. He suggested to stay on seretide high dose

Tezepelumab/Spirometry with Reversibility
Hi, hope everyone is managing well. I’m just looking to hear others experiences if possible. I’m quite complex and don’t show a high FeNO and spirometry is normal and my asthma is driven by neutrophils for inflammation. Best peak flow is 440, hovering around 220-350 - 220 is pre meds in the morning

Allegra for asthma?
I have recently moved from the UK to Germany/Switzerland; the halthcare is in Germany. Getting Xolair, anti-IL5 mAbs, prednisone, inhalers and other drugs was super-easy. But I still get very chest-tight due to the high pollen counts. I believe here the pollen-triggered asthma is worse, b.c. of the warmer

Lingering dry cough
My 5 year old has asthma and is on preventative inhalers. He's recently had a flare, triggered by a virus. The cough got worse and has eased, however, it is lingering, we are on week 2 now. When he runs, dances etc he coughs and if he moves from inside to outside. Any reason why? Or tips to help it go

Seretide to Fostair
hello, I’ve been taking seretide accuhalers for around 20 years - before this my asthma was not controlled and I had regular attacks and I haven’t had one since being on seretide. my asthma nurse has given me Fostair to try. Has anyone switched from seretide to Fostair and how has it affected you?

DofE expedition with asthma
Hi. My 13 year old daughter is meant to go on her DofE expedition (2 nights) in mid April, peak hayfever season. I’m feeling increasingly stressed about it - what if her asthma flares up while she’s potentially lost in the woods with her group? Would really appreciate any tips and other’s experiences

powdered inhalers
Hi everyone Just wanted to share some good news for me that may help you too. I switched from Seretide 500 Evohaler (the spray/aerosol type). to the Accuhaler (powdered version) in summer last year. I suggested it purely as I was at my wits end, I tried every other inhaler going and none of them worked

Bevispi Aeroshere Inhaler
Hi folks I posted yesterday (I think :) does anyone use this inhaler? and how do you find using it ? I have been put on it instead of seretide but find it is making me a bit light headed for a couple of hours afterwards, Think the mucous production is reducing a little. Would appreciate a reply if you

Trimbow eligibility??
ok so I’ll reply to you all on my other post shortly, thank you all for your support!! I was thinking of asking my GP to step down my Seretide from 125/25 to 50/25 because the steroid is definitely doing less for me than the long acting reliever. I was also going to ask to switch back from Atrovent

The joy of the unclear diagnosis 😂
This is a verrrry long post!! If anyone actually reads to the end you have my full respect I’m a returning member to the forum. I used to be active when I was being treated for severe asthma. I used to routinely end up in hospital for basic chest infections, and struggled with chest aching and tightness

Feeling hopeless
Hello everyone, first post. I've had asthma since a child and I'm 43 now but only used a blue inhalor up till earlier this year. Now it's out of control if it is even asthma I'm not so sure anymore since the none of the meds seem to work and in fact some seem to make it worse and my peak flow goes down

Hi.only thing I can say is you are using your inhaler correctly and rinsing with warm water afterwards. After I clean teeth I do not rinse mouth but I rinse later with oral b mouthwash. Hope you stay healthy sorry I can't be more helpful.

Five year old non stop dry cough
I'm at the end of my tether. Our five year old has had 7 asthma "flares" since starting school in September. The asthma nurse tells us we have to manage these with ventolin. They last three to four days, he coughs absolutely non stop, gets out of breath talking and doesn't sleep. They refuse to prescribe
