Anoro Ellipta - have you had side effects
Hello everyone, I’m a newbie to posting on here but I have followed some of the chats and everyone seems so friendly and knowledgeable, I wondered if I could pick your brains. I had mild Covid in April 2020 and it left me with long covid, the worst effects of which for me are fatigue and shortness

Nebuliser
I use my nebuliser at least 4 times a day with saline or Salbutamol 2.5ml dose's which take approximately 5 minutes to administer, During a 3 day stay in hospital I couldn't help but notice how much slower it was to get the same dose of medication from their machine, upto 20 minutes. Is my machine too

Covid causing an asthma flare...
Positive pcr yesterday and it has gone straight to my lungs! My peakflow is at 60% of best and I'm taking regular salbutamol, but the breathlessness is the worst I've ever had! Spoke to G.P who has told me to continue what I'm doing but I feel absoloutly rubbish, this has hit me harder than expected!

New confused and fed-up!
Hi everybody, I’m new here and haven’t yet been diagnosed with asthma, although this is the route the Drs are now going down. I’m a 63 year old healthy lady, never smoked and have never had chest issues until now. On December 28th I tested positive for Covid, although I had no real symptoms to speak

CAN’T TOLERATE ALBUTEROL INHALERS - ALTERNATIVES? LOOKING FOR INFO/IDEAS.
Has anyone not been able to tolerate any Albuterol based inhalers due to tachycardia and arrhythmia issues? This has happened twice - and I am wondering what the alternative options are to these Albuterol based inhalers?

Has the storm/change in weather impacted on you?
Has anyone had asthma flare ups preceding the storm and after that we have just experienced? I had a bad asthma attack on the Wednesday night and have been woken every night since. I get seasonal asthma so I am wondering if the change in weather is a big impact? Currently only on salbutamol but need

Has This Happened to You?
Hi all. New to this site but handful you’re here. Looking for feedback on my incident. 1/7 woke up with bitter gurgling in my throat. Coughed and coughed. Finally subsided. 1/8 woke up sore all over ( the coughing spasm?). Could not be off my oxygen for more than 5 min without acute breathlessness.

Ventolin nebules
As a brittle asthmatic I have been nebulising on ventolin nebules for some years now which I have always found works much better for me than a generic salbutamol but have now been told that ventolin nebules have been discontinued. Anyone else having the same problem? I guess the generic ones are cheaper

Food stuck in pharynx-Albuterol tx
This has happened a few times in the past couple of months with me. It happened one time about two years ago as well. I attribute it to increased phlegm production and thicker mucus from the COPD getting worse. The first time I waited it out. A vitamin B complex pill lodged itself neatly

COPD
Good morning, I have been tested for COPD since 2017. I am taking BREO Ellipta & Spiriva in the mornings, also Salbutamol HFA 100UG when needed. Now I have had these these two flareups. First one was about a year ago. I just woke up finding it really hard to breathe, like I had a band rapped around my

My 62 year old daddy on a ventilator from covid complications and lung scarring.
My dad has been fighting covid pneumonia for almost 4 weeks now. He has been on the ventilator for 15 days requiring 90-100% with very fast breaths(BiLevel). He is able to keep his stats in the 90s right now. The doctors say he now has lung scarring which can't be corrected. He is on dialysis now as

Add on drugs that are usually prescribed by a consultant part 1 (LAMAs, add-on inhalers, theo)
Hi everyone - it’s been a while! Here is the next (probably long awaited 😅) infomercial! Here are some of the drugs commonly prescribed by a local consultant. That being said, GPs can (and do) prescribe a lot of them, but I’d suggest if you’re on one of them and are not under a hospital consultant (

Desperate mama
My almost 5 year old son started with coughing symptoms at night around the age of 2, he sleeps soundly until about 12AM-2AM and then wakes up with forceful persistent coughs, mostly when a cold is circulating in the house. He was on so much prednisone and eventually we started a preventative inhaler
