Structured Medication Review.
Has anyone else on this form having to have a STRUCTURED MEDICATION REVIEW by a - PHARMASIST. I just found our that is what I am having tomorrow . Not with a GP or practice nurse. It seems silly. just a weel or two ago I had a COPD/ASTHMA review done by a pharmasist. In that review he reviewed

Easyhaler Salbutamol Sulfate inhaler
Have just had dispensed a different salamol inhaler, which is a dry inhaler and has a dose counter on the side. The latter should be easier to monitor instead of having to weigh salamol inhaler. Hope it is as effective as well. Wishing you all a pleasant weekend. 🤗

Hypersensitive Pneumonitis Due to Construction Dust
Hi everyone, I’ve just received a diagnosis after a crazy past 3 days. I have a new housing estate being built in the field adjacent to my house. The work has been ongoing for a couple of years but started at the furthest end. Last autumn as the work became viewable from our home I noticed I was suffering

Salbutamol & leg cramps.
Hello everyone, I've had a recent diagnosis of Asthma & was given two Salbutamol inhalers about a month ago. They seem to help the wheezing and coughing but I'm wondering if they cause cramp? I had a sleepless night last week & woke up in the morning with cramp & yesterday I went swimming & got cramp

salbutamol not helping
hi guys so the doctor thinks I have asthma I’ve had an ongoing cough since feb this year and it goes and comes back. When I breathe it sounds like I’m snoring and my blue inhaler hasn’t worked for it at all. Last week I was coughing up green phylum and now I have a swollen lymph node behind my ear. I

symbicort to fostair ?
I was on symbicort morning and night and then salbutamol as needed, however the past two weeks my asthma has flared up resulting in prednisone for 5 days (which ended the same day I got switched to fostair) I got switched to fostair 100/6 on the mart scheme , I’ve been using fostair for 4 days now

I do not know what to do.
My asthma has been uncontrolled for a year now. Since the beginning of this year, I have had five courses of steroid tablets and five courses of antibiotics. Every day I need ventolin 3-4 times. My asthma nurse doesn't prescribe anything new to me, and the specialist didn't change anything either.

Sodium cromoglycate inhaler (Intal)
Can anyone share their experience getting Intal inhaler since it has been delisted in the UK? Or, do you now take it via a nebulizer instead? If yes, can you share the name of the nebulizer device and the manufacturer of the cromolyn/chromoglycate solution? Pubmed indicates it's less effective than

Asthma attack - school says no more rowing
My 14-year-old son had a serious asthma attack post-exercise in school. Paramedics were called and he recovered after receiving nebulizer treatment. Now, he has been told he no longer will be allowed to have a seat in his rowing team, alternatively he is allowed to cox. He is devastated. I am trying

Seen my GP who says MART therapy is now used & suggested Fobumix inhaler Any thoughts?
Hi I posted last week after my Asthma review with a health care assistant at my GP surgery who basically tried to tell me to use my Fostair as both a preventer & reliever & tried to remove my Salbutamol Inhaler. I have since spoken to a GP who says the nurse is correct & they are using MART Therapy

MART Regime
I don’t usually post but read lots of good advice on here and wondered if anyone else used Fostair 100/6 on the MART regime? I had my review on Thursday and the respiratory nurse asked me to try it instead of using my salbutamol, I’m just a bit concerned as I don’t feel my Fostair acts as quickly at
