default heart rate when in Afib?
Hi guys Long story short:third ablation failed in May. In between ablations (last 2 years) my afib has been permanent. Ive tried multiple drug combos but the only thing that makes my heart beat normally is an ablation. After latest failed I had a week’s reset after a public hospital cardioversion.

4 years post EBRT (44) PSA 0.1 Up from undetectable.
MO thinks it will go up hopefully slowly. Recheck psa in 3 months. Dumb question maybe. Stage 4?

Does this look like lupus rash?
Hi everyone. I started with a flat purple rash last Tuesday. It’s spread across my stomach and down the front of my thighs. Then a more sporadic raised rash started on shoulders, back, and then my hands and arms on Friday evening. The first marks on upper body looked like I’d scratched the skin. Yesterday

Adrenal Insufficiency or GCA or both?
I have looked at the FAQs but cannot readily find an answer so here goes.By way of quick update I restarted pred about 3 months at 10mg because my PMR symptoms came back. I have been tapering at 1mg every 5 weeks using Dorset Lady's slow taper (thank you again). I am shortly to reduce from 7mg to 6.5mg

Don't know what's real anymore...
Some know my story so far, but briefly, rheumatologist diagnosed sjogren's after several years of UCTD and has now referred but to a sjogren's specialist. I saw him about a month ago and he's not convinced it's sjogren's and is running more tests and told me to stop taking Amitryptiline as tris can

loop recorder
I am being asked by an EP/ cardiologist to have them implant a loop recorder to monitor my heart for an extended period of time. This recorder will be recording continuous EKG readings that is transmitted to the treating cardiologist . It is expected that this will allow for better diagnosis and treatment

The Queen is here!
Hi all, it's been a while but I'm still going strong 😁 I didn't look back to see what was up the last time I was here. I am still not on dialysis and I've had my fistula for several months now. It's become so thick and strong. I think it's doing well. I've tried not to worry every day about having to

Biomarkers to Assess Multiple Sclerosis
Some review and maybe something new.
Recent research on fluid biomarkers in multiple sclerosis (MS) frames an emerging picture of two aspects of the disease: inflammatory activity measured with
neurofilament light chain
(NfL), and disease progression independent of relapses, with promising

Cardioversion and PVCs and PACs
Does a cardioversion help if you have PVCs and PACs or does it only help if you have Afib? I go in and out of Afib but my PVCs and PACs have been non-stop for 3 months. Flecainide did not work. I’m considering a cardioversion as I’m to the point I will try anything to get my heart back into NSR but

Hi all, Feeling somewhat relived that my latest medichecks test shows my TSH has increased since Jan (same dose - 75mcg) from 0.9 - 3.38. T3 and T4 remained fairly constant (see attached) For the first time I also got TGA tested and they are high, my TPO antibodies have always been negative. So at least
