Psychiatrist appt went well today. She gave me the option of upping my Remeron to 7mg but I want to hold off and get through my upper cervical chiropractor appts this week first to see if he can help the dizziness. I really want to know if it’s stemming from the concussion or the meds. (Both?) But she

I am an actor whose face was damaged by a doctor friend
Hello. I have irregular red lumps, pigmentation and wounds in one cheek because of an aesthetic procedure gone wrong. I went to an aesthetic doctor friend to help with my acne scars only on one side of my cheek because I could see them on camera and was self conscious about them, and after a few laser

Progress!
It’s been almost a week on the Remeron and even on only 3mg I’m still seeing improvement. Yesterday I was actually able to get out and run a few errands. Did some baking this morning. I feel less confined to the couch and some of the physical anxiety symptoms are lessening. Still having some dizziness

Remeron/Mirtazapine
My psychiatrist had me switch from Zoloft to Remeron. Last night was the first night taking the Remeron/Ativan and so far so good. A little dizziness when it all kicked in and maybe a little grogginess/dizziness this morning. Nervous to take my morning dose of Ativan but really really hoping Remeron

Recently developed insomnia...how to push through?
I've been a fairly decent sleeper most of my life and highly valued sleep, as anyone does, but in particular saw it as a way to help restore/recover/recharge from the daily tolls of my own anxiety. Latest anxiety story
Hello, My name is Anna. I struggle with anxiety and depression and I am currently taking remeron to help my insomnia due to my anxiety. I have a story to share because my anxiety is through the roof over this and I can’t do anything but focus on this. I’m worried I may sound dumb for my story and I apologize

Frustrated - please help me with my battle plan :)
In the United States... So, last year my daughter was diagnosed hypothyroid. In studying up on that, I suspected I was too - brain fog, fatigue, low basal temp, high bp, insomnia, mild depression among other things. In Nov. I got doc to order labs. He wanted to take a wait and see based on numbers

Peripheral neuropathy....do your feet peel? Mine do.
Hi! From SE Alabama! I saw someone from Alanta? The weather down here in te deep south has been crazy... anyway, I've been lurking around, reading and gleaning all of your thoughts, stories, theories. Seems we all have to become true detectives once you fall down this rabbit hole of peripheral neuropathy

Allergy to the sun
I have been diagnosed with solar urticaria and have tried all sunscreena, all combinations of antihistamines and Xolair injections, (which worked for a short time then quit working.) Has anyone tried PUVA (photosensitivity treatments) or low dose naltrexone? All I can do is wear many layers of clothes

How to measure RANK/L and OPG serum levels?
Hi all, I have 2 questions and then I'll explain my story: - Are RANKL and OPG available as blood tests (medical journals show patient testing of serum levels of these but I've struggled to find places that offer them as blood tests)? - Should I be seeing an endocrinologist or geneticist for issues related

Hepatologist Appt 🥰
For those who have been wondering, I finally had my appt yesterday. He isn’t the one I’ve been waiting for. Seemed the other one was taking a little too long. My GI’s NP made a phone call to Dr Mantry, head of Hepatology at Methodist Liver Institute in Dallas. (Methodist denied him seeing me a few months

I haven't posted in a while.
I haven't posted in a while because I was doing so much better. I really thought I was winning the battle with anxiety and panic disorder. But the last 2 days have been hell. I can't think straight, feel so defeated. I really think I am going crazy. I can sleep only because I knock out on remeron and
