Sudden onset breathing crisis
Then I got the familiar sting in the back of the throat and the rhuemy eye of
rhinitis
. So I took a hay fever tablet at about 2.15 p.m. Just and hour later managed to walk the dog as well as I did yesterday (i.e. not well but OK).

Montelukast Question
Hi I'd like to hear from several users of Montelukast as to how long they feel it took to get an improvement in their symptoms. Hoping to get several answers so I can compare them and arrive at an average time-frame I should expect to wait on any positive results (assuming I'm lucky enough for this drug

Question for those with Asthma in the 1960s.
I get the impression that the Asthma Clinic do not believe me (she claims she does not get
Rhinitis
). Is it just me? Just curious.

BRONCHIAL ASTHMA DUE TO SENSITIVITY TO GUM ACACIA
He has, however, an allergic
rhinitis
due to dust sensitivity for which he is undergoing treatment. It is rather interesting that this man had worked at the same trade for seventeen years. For the past five years he had been using this spray in his work.

leukotriene agonists and 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors
Hi Folks Need to tap into your direct experience of leukotriene agonists and / or 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors. Currently pattern is a need for 5 / 10 Day Oral Steroid Burst about every 4 to 5 Weeks. Thinking about asking my Consultant to give me one of the above if I need to have another Steroid Burst

Acid reflux
I've also got
rhinitis
and have no sense of smell. I can taste but don't get flavour which means that I do tend to prefer very salty foods. I'd be grateful for any advice. Thanks.

Pseudoephedrine
This is NOT a suggestion nor a recommendation, but during 2 recent severe asthma attacks (when my salbutamol and Clenil Inhalers were of hardly any benefit) I remembered that - when I was a young kid (before modern asthma medications were around) my GP prescribed ephedrine. Now, because at the time of
