Upon losing my father , some retrospect. Take what you need and leave the rest.
Tysm for all. Unfortunately my dad's death was long and horrifying bc he couldn't breathe . He died of leukemia to my knowledge, not prostate cancer and please dont jump on me for saying so bc I am vaxxed and I'm not an anti vaxxer, but I have no doubt that that the vaccines sped up his demise as he got

is this a chemical pregnancy?
After getting a very faint positive (but thick line) on my first test on 7DPT5DE I’ve tested and had faint lines on various other tests. This morning 9DPT I did a home blood test (with very little blood as I couldn’t bleed lol) and it showed a light positive….any advice please? I’m so scared to get excited

Covid
It was my understanding that if you had an underlying health condition like Lupus you could be prescribed anti viral medication if you tested positive with COVID. I contacted my doctor today and he said lupus wasn’t on the list of serious underlying health conditions and that GPs don’t prescribe the

In the last 3 years we have had 3 cycles of icsi, in two different clinics. First two cycles 6 blastocysts

Hepatitis C information update - Can you help?
We are updating the information about hepatitis C on the British Liver Trust website. We would really like more people with experience of hepatitis C to take a look at the new information, and give us your thoughts. This shouldn't take long (about half an hour of your time) and you don’t need any medical

Covid or chest infection?
I started with covid at the weekend. The last few days I've had a chesty cough, and today it's producing thick yellow mucus. My peak flow is low, I have on and off tightness, especially after coughing & SoB. Before covid, my asthma hadn't be that controlled, but I hadn't got so far as seeing the GP.

Seeking a good travel insurance company for rheumatoid arthritis
Just wondered if anyone has any advise on travel companies they have used that covers rheumatoid arthritis. Also I noticed that for Corona virus cover you have to be up to date with COVID vaccines and unfortunately I missed the spring booster so any advise for cover would be gratefully received. Many

Hey Everyone, Second ICI cycle. I had my egg collection today - 4 eggs collected which is better than 3 first time but i'm also a little bit disappointed as I was hoping for 5/6. Still, we move. All we can do is push on! It’s a strange feeling. I am very cautious, and really don’t want to get

Shingles vaccine is now recommended in Australia for people aged ≥18 years who are immunocompromised
The Australian Government recently updated its advice about vaccination against shingles. The bad news is that the only vaccine funded through the National Immunisation Program is still Zostavax. "Zostavax® is funded under the National Immunisation Program (NIP) at 70 years of age. Shingrix®

Study: Stress affects the effectiveness of vaccines
Dr. Natalia Freund in her lab. Photo courtesy of Tel Aviv University While stress improves antibody production after Covid-19 vaccination by 70%, it significantly reduces antibody diversity to protect against variants. A significant link between behavioral stress and the effectiveness of vaccines

ICU to home
Dad was admitted to a&e due to diabetes but turned out he had pneumonia and out of the blue his best chance of survival would be to transfer him to icu & put him in an induced coma.
