So many questions
I have so many questions to ask but my doctor doesn't have a few hours to answer them all. For instance why aren't people told that their kidney function is in decline by their doctor until they start getting symptoms or get to stage 3. This seems cruel and wrong to me? Why is your creatinine level

Spironolactone
I have had AF since 2013. I am on Apixaban (2x 5mg), Bisoprolol 10mg, Furosemide 20mg, Digoxin 62.5, Ranitidine (2 x 150 mg) and Spironolactone 25mg. I had been having abdominal/chest pains feeling exhausted so have an Angiogram booked in for June as Heart Failure seems to be on the cards. Plus

Pace and Ablate
Well I had hoped that it would have been all done and dusted by now - but NO! The insurance company is driving both my EP, his secretary and myself round the pole and I rather suspect they will deny the bi-ventricular device. But they have OK’d the AV node ablation - which of course I can’t have -

Extreme dizziness
After a ridiculously fast episode of AF, I ended up in resus, and then back onto a ward a couple of weeks ago, due to acute heart failure. I stopped taking Bisoprolol several months ago, because it dropped my heart rate down into the 30’s, but while I was in hospital they convinced me that it would

SpO2 dropping
I was diagnosed with Asthma/COPD several years ago and whenever my GP checked my SpO2 readings they were always 99/98. I have had no debilitating breathing problems until recently.... I bought a Pulse Oximeter a couple of months ago as I was waking up with a strange sensation of restlessness, like I

Kidney Transplant after Liver Transplant
HI Has anyone had to have a kidney transplant after having a new liver. My husband had a liver transplant in Nov 2017 and his kidneys do not seem to have recovered. Worst case scenario is a kidney transplant which is freaking him out. Would be grateful for any advice?

Arm Pain During Dialysis
She is 86 years old and suffers from chronic

failure
. When diagnosed years ago, her comment to me was that she would never do dialysis. She was faithful in following doctor’s orders and her diet.

Can someone give me some advice.
I got on this forum because of my niece. She is the one that has the kidneys failing. She is in the hospital and just started dialysis. The dialysis is not cleaning her blood. They want to do a blood transfusion. The question is will this change the results of a kidney transplant, will the new kidney

Drop in haemoglobin
I had a phone call from my Gp today to say my anaemia has deteriorated. My usual level is 106 and it’s dropped to 94 for no apparent reason. I have stage 4 kidney failure, no dialysis yet and Vasculitis. I take iron tablets and Aranesp injections to increase my Hb levels. I’m waiting for Addenbrookes
