Well that was a surprise - hydration
Had cardiac review a week past Friday, and as I had haematology the following Wednesday asked for the blood test for that be done at same time. Cardiac review required a fasting blood test. Got result, HCT of 0.46 so booked a venesection an hour before my haematologist appointment. In the meantime

Wondering if I need to up my ERFA dose after surgery?
I had surgery nearly 3 weeks ago under GA for removal go ovarian cyst and a cervical polypectomy. I've recovered from the affects of the GA and my surgical wounds have healed, but I'm not feeling great. Tired and gaining weight very easily. I'm currently taking Erfa Thyroid. I take 90mg in the morning

Hi Ladies, I’ve just had a Bi-lateral Salpingo Oophorectomy, a Total Hysteroscopy and a bowel and bladder repair. My story is I have had years of the wrong diagnosis. I was told I had IBS, Fibromyalgia, Acid Reflux, Fibroids etc. Then after one MRA test through suffering with my gallbladder, they found

PBC, tired but hopeful
I was diagnosed Jan 2017. Though my symptoms go back to my late teens early 20’s. I had an emergency gallbladder removal and spent 5 days in the hospital at 25 (2002) for a mystery liver infection. Gallbladder was just swollen no stones. The blessing came because the several weeks of antibiotics I

Nearly a week on from laparoscopic hysterectomy....
Hello everyone Just thought that I would update on my op which I've had as a consequence of tamoxifen for 2 years which have caused endometrial hyperplasia (thickening of uterus). I had it Friday morning and came home Saturday afternoon not needing to be on pain relief! I've had a total hysterectomy

Looking for input on lung cancer surgery with lymph node removal and mild COPD
I am now down to 3 lobes due to lung cancer surgeries. It has been 5 weeks and I still get short of breath with any exertion. My heart rate goes up as high as 120, but my O2 level pretty much stays above 90. As soon as I sit down my heart rate starts to drop and my O2 level goes up. My oncologist has

Post hysterectomy and dating...when to mention that Ive had this done and why.
Hi Everyone. Firstly let me just say that I had the total hysterectomy and oopherectomy done over a year ago privately and so I am not suggesting that I wasnt aware of the possibility that it could cause some questions about my actions. I am happy I chose this way. I do not refret my decision and now

stage 4 endo, end of the line? hysterectomy or other opt
Hi, I've made a doctors appointment to discuss my options and just wanted to chat if any one has any personal experience they could help me with? I have stage 4 endo diagnosed by lap 5 years ago after suffering horrific periods since my teens. I'm 38 now. Diagnosis came about as a result of infertility

Hi everyone, About 8 years ago I had my thyroid checked as I was feeling very unwell about 8 months after having my first child. It flagged up high antibodies but normal range for everything else. Hi Ladies,
My name is Jules. I found out I had breast cancer in sept 17, I had 6 rounds of chemo, docetaxol and EC which shrunk the tumour, then I had a therapeutic mammoplasty and lymph node removal. A Routine CT scan followed and then came the news in March that it had moved to my bones, spine, pelvis, hips.
