Stomach bleed following heart medication
Hello all, me again - my mother had the very painful arm following the stent procedure. That has (somewhat)settled down after four weeks. On Saturday she started passing black stools and was taken to hospital with a stomach bleed. She had a blood transfusion yesterday. Waiting for an endoscopy today.

Severe arm pain following stent procedure
Dear all, I have just joined this forum. My mother had a mild heart attack three weeks ago tonight. She had a stent put in and all was OK but then two days after she came home from hospital, she developed a severe pain in the arm where the stent was inserted. I am not sure why they did not use the groin

Arm problems after angioplasty
Hi I’m 47 female had a small heart attack on Monday. I had angioplasty on Tuesday & one stent fitted. My right arm is really sore & bruised & it feels like my bicep muscle is flexed. Just wondered if this is normal as finding so uncomfortable & affecting my sleep.

YABTKi or Yet Another BTK inhibitor - the A to Z list of Bruton's Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors for CLL following Ibrutinib's success
I'll admit that YABTKi is not a recognised CLL related acronym, (acronym lists are here https://healthunlocked.com/cllsupport/posts/private/134932756/cll-abbreviations-in-one-post ), but perhaps it should be! I've attempted in this post to keep tabs on the growing list of BTK inhibitor (BTKi) drugs

Angiogram and stent
I have been told that I need to have an angiogram and a stent fitted. Are these done one after the other or on two separate occasions? Does anyone know the routine that Papworth follows? Also, how long did you wait... And any idea how much it is to be done privately? Roughly. Don't really agree with

Chest pain after stent
Is this a normal condition. Could it be caused by the blood thinner I have to take for 30 days afterwards? I had a second heart catheter 2 days ago because of chest pain, they said everything looks normal,,,,

Medication after stent a year ago
Hey, I'm Michele. Last year I had multiple mild heart attacks and when I eventually went to the GP I was sent to the hospital and now have a stent in place. It was fitted on 1st Oct 2018. I was told at my release that some of the medications would only need to be used for one year. I'm still taking
