Heart Attack with stent
I had a heart attack less than 2 weeks ag and have had a stent fitted. My heart stopped so I had one shock to bring me back. I am so grateful to the doctors who saved my life. I am feeling a bit nervy and anxious and cold and achy is this normal.

Post Stent Chest Discomfort
Hi There I am a 50 year old male who has recently had 2 stents in my LAD artery due to a 99% critical blockage...During the procedure I also lost a diagonal artery from the LAD... I was physically fit prior to my procedure and have a healthy lifestyle... It has now been 10 days since my procedure and

Bladder contracture Options?
As a result of PC treatment and a TURP (after radiation, not advised) to correct a brutal catheterization I now have extreme difficulty urinating and at this time can not even get a catheter into my bladder. I have straight caths arriving later today and hope to be able to get one of them to work since

ADT and Docetaxel worked for treating the Prostrate and Pelvic Mets, but 2 out of 3 ain't bad
Recap: I'm a 61 baby who was DX in Dec 2019 with Stage IV APCa, GS9, PSA 50, with 3 mets found on my pelvis and a metastasis in my bladder which is preventing flow from the left kidney as the mass it's constricting the urerter. So, my PSA is now 0. 05 (Hurray!! 👏👏) Casodex and Eligard (my ADT) combined

Hi guys, I know this was years back, but I recent had stents and now I'm still having tigteness of chest and short of breath, leaving me feeling all heavy on the chest, even if I'm taking slow pace walking. Can some one tell me, even after stent why am I still feeling this? Thanks

Beer is good as I can't drink 3 litres of water!
Beer is good as I can't drink 3 litres of water. With all the drugs I have to take, I try to drink lots of water, but it's hard. Between chemo sessions it's hard enough to eat and drink as it is. But as week 3 comes around, I'm starting to feel a lot better, so I find a few cleansing ales really goes

Soluble aspirin
Good morning everyone, I had a heart attack and stent fitted 2 months ago and I was wondering if anyone else might have had any problems with soluble aspirin? I have a constant ringing in my ears and feel very congested for most of the day. Thanks in advance, Paul

Sudden appearance of a double chin.
When I had an angiogram several months ago, I awoke the following morning with a lot of loose skin under my chin. I've never had a double chin and this disappeared after a few days. But now it's suddenly returned. It's not fatty, just loose. I have gained a little weight during lockdown, but nothing

Work and heart disease
Hi I'm fairly new here. Had a stent fitted 26th june still experiencing chest pain, diagnosed with angina (ischemic heart disease). Advice needed on returning back to work as i am a key worker, very concerned about working closely to public during covid -19 pandemic. Any advice would be appreciated.

Matching Blood Pressure Med's to individuals commodities? or maybe, most likely, not?
Hi all, I have taken Blood Pressure Medication (Irbesartan) for around 15 years and I imagine the same as many 'here' I was originally prescribed the medication upon the outset of high blood pressure and at the time 'we' had no other related commodities, IE no other cardio related ills. 15 years on
