Hi and thank you to everyone that replied to my post (Re-Angioplasty) Had the stent fitted although they did pressure testing first which was kinda weird, it was decided to stent so had that done. Not too sure what the drug was they gave but it caused to have problems breathing problems, shortness of breath,, only for a few seconds though thankfully! Very strange feeling as I have COPD guess maybe that made it worse!! Got used to the mask in the end so not a problem!
Not sure it has improved my breathing very much if at all, maybe it will improve after a few weeks.
Hope everyone is ok.
Take care
John

Found stenting to be a really weird experience. Had mine done at St George's with a few students in the theatre. Was surreal seeing the ink pumping through my heart on the live x-ray. I think I may have had a small nap while they were busy, too!
Most important, I think, was at the end when they showed me the before and after pictures: a left coronary that was 99% blocked looks VERY different after it has a stent put in!
