Reclast

Had CTX done so I can start Reclast. CTX is 89. Has ANYONE had Reclast going in with a score of 89?

My Endocrinologist recommended Reclast IV. I’ve hesitated to take Bisphosphonates because of the side effects. Has anyone used Reclast after Evenity or Forteo ( in used 2016-2018). I also used Prolia from 2019 - 2023. I’m in the USA.

I have been on Reclast for 3 years. About a year and a half ago I was told by my dentist I have bone loss in my jaw. After researching Reclast I realized that it could be what's causing the bone loss in my jaw.

Now I have to take reclast and that is very scary. After 9 years of dealing with this,and many fractures, I am very tired of it all. How much can a person take🫨 Sorry for the rant

Is anyone taking this, and if so, what is your experience. Would you take this over Actonel or other biophosphate, and if so, why? My Rheumatologist is suggesting this for -2.5 T score of femoral neck. Thank you for sharing your knowledge

I have osteoporosis (worst is lumbar spine -2.5) and am currently on a drug holiday from Reclast IV after taking it for 3 years.

Prolia… reclast… there seems to be controversy in taking the supplement… I thought I post here to get your feedback. I truly do not want to take any more medication. I was hoping that this would help in some degree

Has anyone with ET received a Reclast infusion for osteoporosis? My endocrinologist recommended it as my lifestyle is good but my T scores continue to get worse.

Doctor says it’s nothing to do with reclast but wondering if anyone else has had anything similar. I’m contemplating skipping 2nd infusion to see if pain goes away. They did X-rays to make sure no fractures and did not see any.

On Nov 7, 2024 I had a one hour reclast infusion. Because my body often responds negatively to medications, the Dr. decided it would be best for me to do a very slow infusion. Generally they are 15-20 min. infusions. There weren't any problems with the actual infusion.

My endocrinologist recommends Evinity once/ month for 12months followed by Reclast for two years. She says I can then stop all drug treatment. I prefer not to use drugs but my doctor won’t offer any other treatment.

Are the other biphsphonates the same as Actonel in side effects, eg. if one causes migraine will Fosamax, Boniva or Reclast cause migraine? Thanks

just got the diagnosis and endocrinologist want me to have reclast infusion. I would be so grateful for patient experiences pro and cons

The other one they recommended is Reclast, but I am worried the same will happen. It seems that most don’t have much in the way of side effects other than fatigue after the infusion. Anyone had anything more than that? Thanks!

Is the Reclast (Zolendranate) yearly injection better on migraine? I have just been told the Strontium Ranelate (UK) will not be available until 2025. I am running out of options, meanwhile losing all the bone made on Evenity.

I have been reading a lot about how people treat a mild to moderate wedge compression fracture of t12, how do you know if you need osteoporosis drugs, some people with fractures don't take drugs, I am due my second reclast infusion this Thursday not looking forward to it. any tips anyone.

is it best to take a calcium supplement before my infusion, I have had a blood test prior to my infusion but a blood test doesn't really show how much calcium in your bones and I have been reading that reclast lowers calcium levels.

Reclast has been recommended but I’m hesitant as I have a mandibular tori which is a risk factor for osteonecrosis of the jaw. Has anyone had a mandibular tori and taken Reclast?

after reading a lot of the videos regarding prolia I will not be taking it,it is taking me a lot of time wether to have my second reclast infusion on the 25th of this month, a lot of these so called specialists are not sure how long to stay on these drugs before they cause problems.

I have just been for my blood test prior to my second infusion, after my first one I ended up in a/e at 4am in the morning peeing blood I am dreading it,oncologist said uti infection won't have been the infusion what a load of rubbish never had a uti before in my life, 8hrs in a/e then they put me on
