Hi, I’m 65 and was an OR nurse. I lifted 20#orthopedic instrument trays and heavy patients for 20 years. Was shocked to find out that I have OP😳
Medicare here in the states won’t cover Evenity so I’m scheduled for a Reclast infusion in January.
I’ve read such horrible things about side effects and am really worried. I hike daily and ride horses. Would be heartbreaking to have to quit doing the activities I love.
Torn between trying natural remedies or taking Reclast. I broke my hip from a bad fall almost 5 years ago. Am now wondering if the OP caused it.
Any advice?

I had Reclast infusions for two years without any side affects at all. I drank lots of water prior to infusion and made sure to request a slow rate iof infusion. (That very slow rate is so important; mine took about 1/2 hour I think) I had been on Prolia for prior 5 years successfully but Dr wanted to stop so I had to go onto Reclast Good going and I hope for the very best!
I had one Reclast infusion a few years ago. I stopped due to dental issues ( unrelated to Reclast). I had nausea about four times in the following year nothing else. I’m scared of jaw necrosis now.
