Treatment Recommendation for father with advanced PCA to regional lymph nodes
Radiotherapy
will not begin until September/October - 20 treatments EBRT daily for 4 weeks. He has suggested he will hit the prostate and all the nodes up the pelvis and into the lower abdomen with a little beyond that as well. We will be meeting with him again and the MO shortly.

Chronic fatigue
I'm 5 years out from lowdown down rectal cancer.I had chemo and
radiotherapy
prior to opp to remove the tumour, from about 6 months after treatment I suffer with chronic fatigue. I start every day late afternoon with with tiredness, big yawning, legs and knees weak and aching.

Blood in Urine
I’ve had probably as much
radiotherapy
as I can already. My PSA has been growing steadily and I was probably going to start a chemo re challenge in the next month or two. Any pointers or any advice on what to ask would be appreciated. Thanks folks.

This was treated with
radiotherapy
. On Decapeptyl 6 monthly injections, and over the years, Xgeva, Xtandi and for the past couple of years, Erleada. Unfortunately, due to stomach surgery 2 years ago, where his vagus nerve was cut, he has now developed gastroporesis.

cough after breast radiation
I finished
radiotherapy
for breast cancer 4 weeks ago and have now developed a dry cough with clear phlegm coming from upper respiratory tract. Does anyone know if this could be related to the radiation ?

Back to it
My skin ripped where I'd had
radiotherapy
and I had to have my implant removed. Another implant was put in but I didn't heal and I lost that. All of this prevented me from running. Last week, I started again. Back to week 3:but I did it and it felt great.

Surviving cancer: some options for you to consider
Radiotherapy
tries to burn the cells- like a microwave and chemo tries to kill the cancer like weeds, trying to deprive them of their oxygen and food….

The stance is a leftover from some
radiotherapy
I had about three years ago. Having developed some nasty dead bone in my jaw that had to be removed (the dead bone that is, not the whole jaw). I was back at the hospital's maxfax unit one week later.

ADT for almost 2 years
Well, I have gone through surgery,
radiotherapy
, ADT, since my diagnosis in February 2018. It will be 2 years in February next since I started ADT and PSA has always been <0.01, but a couple of day ago it came at 0.03.

Radiation Proctitis looking for advise please.
I am a 62 year old woman and had pelvic external beam
radiotherapy
for five weeks ending in March 2023. Since then I have had bowel problems, a bit of urinary incontinence, lymphedema and tingling like sensations in my legs. Bleeding from my anus became worse in December.

Now for the pain they told him that he should have
radiotherapy
for the lumbar area (spine). The diagnosis they gave us is that his cancer is very advanced and that there is no solution. You can only do pain care.

Discontinue all antioxidant supplements on early signs of biochemical recurrence?
I know it's a no brainer not to take antioxidants while receiving
radiotherapy
. But what about when you are at the stage of very very early recurrence prior to salvage RT?

I am currently on LHRH hormone therapy in preparation for
radiotherapy
followed by HDR brachytherapy for my locally advanced PCa, T3a Gleason 8, no visible mets fortunately. I have been suffering from quite unpleasant hot flushes which have shown no signs of going away.

Ruxolitinib and skin cancers
Rux can trigger really nasty sarcomatoid squamous cell cancers , as it did for me, and having an aggressive dermatological condition to deal with (2 excisions, I false alarm excision,
radiotherapy
, and associated swelling of face -not fun) as well as the PMF was a nightmare I could a have dine without
