Random Appearing Goosebumps
I also have had this issue for two weeks now. It started just after I got a CT scan with contrast. I thought it might be a result of the iodine IV, however it continues to happen. I also thought it could be linked to the fact that I ate fish twice the week it started occurring because I have gotten

Thyroid function after RAI
I've read comments here from people who don't believe their thyroid was "dead" for some years after RAI. So far, online and in the books I'm reading, I'm not able to find a whole lot of info on this. Does anyone know how a person would find out if the symptoms they suddenly began having post RAI were

Gut problems and lethargy.
I’ve had thyroid problems for over 20 years now. Initially I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, by my G.P. who arranged an appointment with endocrinologist. I wasn’t given much information at the time and was given the advice that having RAI treatment was my best option as he told me it was easier to

Injection Update
Hello everyone. My appointment yesterday, for injection, was the fastest ever. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Unfortunately, even though I had my favourite nurse, the after effects were the worst I have had for a very long time. Not only the eye that had the injection but the one that didn't

Upped liothyronine dosage- side effects
Hi again, everyone. In another post, I mentioned having some severe hypothyroid symptoms. I had RAI for graves a year ago and taking 50 mcg levo and 5 mcg liothyronine per day. I've had some wonderful advice/suggestions from some great people here and I also emailed my doctor yesterday to ask about increasing

Advice on low ferritin
Hi everyone, I have questions about low ferritin levels. I have Grave's disease and had RAI one year ago, so now hypothyroid. Having issues with T4/T3 conversion and found out I have low ferritin levels of 23 but serum iron is normal at 105. TIBC is on the highest end of normal (forget my exact number

I was told I had Graves, but TSH Receptor antibody tests just in. Was it Hashi's all along?
I just had my Medichecks TSH Receptor Antibodies result (the first time I've had this done) The doctor's comment was "Your thyroid stimulating hormone receptor antibodies is normal. This is reassuring as these antibodies are positive in autoimmune thyrotoxicosis such as Grave's disease hyperthyroidism

A newbie just hoping for some pain relief advice.
Hi, I am brand new to this. I haven’t had confirmation of endometriosis and my appointment with a specialist has been cancelled due to recent circumstances. However I have done all my research and I will be extremely shocked if it isn’t. My GP seems pretty convinced too. I have tried ibuprofen, paracetamol

Concerns about Axumin Scan allergic reactions
Hello all, Looking for some information on having an Axumin scan. I have one scheduled for April 1 due to rapidly rising PSA. I had a bone scan and CT contrast scan at MD Anderson and went into anaphylactic shock. The attending physician was obviously shaken by the reaction and after about 6 hours

Thyrotoxicosis PLEASE HELP
Just over a year ago it was discovered that my neutrophil count was at 0, so I stopped carbimazole and was referred for
radioactive
iodine
. I declined as I wanted to exhaust all my options before doing something that drastic. I went to a doctor abroad who had me try methimazole.
