Big decsions regarding SRT/ADT due to BCR post RP
My husband was had a robotic
radical
prostatectomy
1/2019 with no major complications or side effects. Gleason 4+3, negative margins and no positive lymph nodes. There was cribiform invasion of a nerve but all margins of the prostate and 0/13 LN were negative after surgery.

Prostate-as-"PCa Factory" - Reasons for Removal?
While reading the bio of forum member, I noted the following advantage to
radical
prostatectomy
(paraphrased):"
No more PCa factory
" As I have written in multiple posts I am enjoying very effective
triplet therapy
against my high volume metastatic prostate cancer.

ADT and bone health
I have been on ADT after
radical
Prostatectomy
for over 14 months and to date aside from the sexual libido loss I have had very little side effects. I have always been a health / exercise buff & continue to exercise everyday to maintain my mental & physical health and so far very good results.

Radical prostatectomy consultant in the south of England
Assuming there is no or little spread, I am keen to have a
radical
laparoscopic
prostatectomy
as soon as possible. Do any members have recommendations in the central south of England, private or NHS?

Hello All, I'm 53 and had a
radical
prostatectomy
in Feb 2023 for Gleason 5+5, stage 3, positive node=1, intraductal carcinoma. Surgeon was unable to spare any nerves and I've got nothing in the area of erections.

Potential biochemical recurrence post radical prostatectomy, looking for perspective on the outcomes and treatments.
63-year old Male, months shy of 5-year mark of the
radical
prostatectomy
, showed PSA of .08 in January then .07 in March. Originally had up to Gleason 9’s. I know it’s not technically a recurrence until .2, and doubling time is the next variable to look out for.

Intermediate favorable vs. unfavorable Gleason 7 acc.to 2 doctors + CLEAN PSMA, do we need third opinion +where? (Green Bay/Milwaukee areas)
You should know my husband is opposed to doing a
radical
prostatectomy
and is pretty dead-set against ADT so when the cancer is treated we are leaning towards brachytherapy.

Managing post surgery expectations
I had a
radical
prostatectomy
and lymph node dissection on 9/12 and my catheter removed on 9/22. (Surgery was successful and I received the best pathology report possible.)

I will be on my way to University Hospital London for a

on Weds. Yes, I've had to learn a new lexicon of terms and medical knowledge. Whilst for the last few months I have been an observer of comments and post rather than a contributor.

Xtandi and price tag
Hi, I just had
radical
prostatectomy
3/23. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer with EPE. I started on Firmagon and my doctor ordered Xtandi. My question is …how can anyone afford Xtandi? My copay is 3300 dollars, more than my SS check.

daily diarrhea 3 years after radiation...?
I had 37 radiation treatments to my pelvic area in 2019 after having a
radical
prostatectomy
9 months previous to that. Has anyone had the same experience? I did have a colonoscopy about a year and a half ago and the results were that I had enlarged blood vessels or internal hemorrhoids.
