Hi, I’m 37 and a mother of 2 boys, the youngest is 19months. I was diagnosed with multifocal invasive lobular carcinoma in my right breast 13 days ago and am a little shaken! So far my doctors don’t suspect any lymph node involvement and the tumor is ER+ PR+ and HER2- which is leading to an excellent

I’ve been taking it for a couple months. It seems to work! When I do have a severe attack I use medical marijuana in vape form and it completely eases it and I can go back to sleep!

Frailty, G-8 Score & PCa outcome.
New paper below. Is frailty inevitable? We could work-out each day & eat a pescatorian diet (aka pesco-vegetarian) like Jack LaLanne & die at age 96 (he died of pneumonia because he wouldn't see a doctor - it would have interfered with his work-out.) The G-8 {Geriatric 8 score} questionaire [1] allows

Taking Alendronic Acid and Adcal.
I have Valvular Heart Disease,Angina and COPD. I also have Calcified Blood Vessels. I was reading that if you have Calcified Blood Vessels you might be better off by not taking any Calcium tablets. I'm not sure what to do about it, whether or not to take the Calcium tablets or not. I know that none

Diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer at age 43. Went through chemotherapy with docetaxel for 6 cycles, radiation of mets to my cervical vertebrae, ADT with Lupron of course and even a radical prostatectomy (strange this was even offered and done with my stage). I started with a PSA of 54 and joined

My experience with mannitol
FYI, I posted this on 2 PD Facebook groups yesterday: I started taking mannitol 2 weeks ago. I purchased it in bulk from Amazon, and I add 1 tablespoon to a cup of hot organic decaf tea every night (I drink several different types and brands of tea). I've read that it's good to take it with coffee or

What are your experiences with medicinal marijuana?
Hey guys I am new here. I was diagnosed Stage 4 here in Thailand almost 3 years ago. I'm going home to Florida at the end of July to continue treatments there. Since my home state of FloriDUH has medical marijuana, I was wondering what people's experience with it was other than the obvious feeling

Latest Update - Post Surgery during Pandemic
Hi All, Just thought I'd post an update. I ended up opting for the double mastectomy, and had the surgery on St. Patrick's Day (March 17th). Considering the hospital was already in COVID-19 lockdown mode, I'm glad I went ahead with the surgery since now most surgeries are postponed. Also the plastic

ICSI - advice needed please
This is my first time posting on here and I would really appreciate advice from those with experience of icsi. My OH is older than me and had a vasectomy over 12 years ago. Given his age, and the reduced likelihood of a successful reversal we plan to go down the icsi route. I’m 29 with no know fertility

PSA 3.12 after 3/17 radical prostatectomy. Future treatment thoughts?
I'm new to Advanced Prostate Cancer, moving "up" from Prostate Cancer Network due to recent pathology results after da Vinci radical prostatectomy (RP) on March 17 in Spokane, WA, with Dr. Raymond Lance, who had more than 2,000 da Vinci RPs under his belt. I feel very good about this choice. Surgery
