Fibroids: Non-Surgical Treatment
After being told that I had 10 fibroids just before the pandemic, it became a perilous and slow journey figuring out what would be the best method to remove them (I had a prior operation that prevented me from directly going into surgery). I found a video that instructed I use Bladderwrack, Irish Moss

Having a Bad Day
Hi Guys, I’m really sorry this is my first post and it’s not exact positive. I’m having a mare of a day. I can’t have kids, just not happening. I have a miracoil? Something like that! Because it’s supposed to help with the symptoms and my gynaecologist said kids aren’t an option so might as well get

laparoscopy findings-what’s your thoughts?
Hi endo warriors. I had a laparoscopy last week and my results/follow up chat today with my consultant. Basically the background has been chronic pain and bowel issues for over 2 1/2 years and was referred to a gynaecologist in summer 2019. Scans etc showed fibroids and one pedunculated (4cm) of which

Pre-op update
Hi folks just an update - went for pre op today saw a lovely nurse who said wow for someone with Lupus & RA you look amazing 🤣 this cheered me up no end - I’m a very colourful person who always coordinates colours - if I dress nice, do my hair nice and wear make up then I feel much better about myself

Is a hysterectomy inevitable?
I had my follow up consultation yesterday following extensive surgery (endo removed throughout the abdomen 'everywhere', a 10cm endometrioma, appendix, scar tissue, both tubes). Only diagnosed at 35 due to infertility investigations. Stage IV. I guess I was 'lucky; in that I didn't realize before and

1 year Post Hysterectomy
I am just over 1 year post hysterectomy (everything removed) due to cysts, fibroids and stage 4 endometriosis. I had a good 6 month run of feeling better, only issue being exhausted all the time. From around January the old symptoms started making their way back which I found a little surprising

Anyone veen diagnosed with endo on diaphragm? If so what are the symptoms?
So ive had a hysterectomy but suffered beforehand with coughing up blood sickness and a catching feeling by right rib alongside the other symptoms. When I had my hysterectomy I had endo all over pelvis, bowel and masses in my stomach wall. But they couldn't check inside bowel or any further time wise

Has anyone tried progesterone cream after a hysterectomy?
As I think my endo has returned after my hysterectomy and my oestrogen levels are high, I was wondering if it’s worth trying natural progesterone cream to balance the oestrogen. Has anyone had any success with easing endo symptoms this way or am I wasting my time?

Endo bowel symptoms after hysterectomy
Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience to me and what the outcome was. Also, any advice on where to go from here is much welcome. I’ve had chronic pelvic pain and bowel issues for years, which has resulted in various investigations and procedures. I’ve had a few conditions diagnosed during

Broken and Lost - awaiting urgent hysterectomy at 34
Today broke me!! My surgeon phoned for an over the phone consult (thanks covid) if you know my story I’ve been waiting since 2017 for a hysterectomy due to stage 4 or as I call it decimated stage Endo. I haven’t even met him in person since I was ‘urgently’ referred Nov 19! And he’s called twice both

And now I'm just aggressive and pissed.
Seeing my post from Monday, know that my mental state has gone from panicked to depressed to sad and ultimately bad. But I'm done. **** trying to be happy so others will stop asking if I'm ok. We all know I'm not. I'm taking control and getting out of bed and cleaning my damn house. I'm done crying

Recovery fro Full Abdominal Hysterectomy
It’s 4wks since my surgery and feeling loads better but can still only walk for about 30-40 mins before my tummy/abdomen starts to ache, this maybe because I’m a bit over weight and have an apron tummy also my abdomen/tummy is still numb. Is this normal? I get a pain when I go to the toilet for a wee

? If going back on HRT will help me?
After a Hysterectomy for fibroids & endometriosis 30 years ago (aged 40 years) I started on HRT because of menopausal symptoms kicking in after a couple of months. I felt good on it. After about 5 years I was said to have Atypical Ductal Hyperplasia (potential for abnormal breast cells) after having

Prostap vs Hysterectomy
I'll try to keep this brief. I'm 45 next month. 4.5 years ago I had my second surgery to remove adhesions/ endo and it was major surgery. Everything that could be stuck together was. After 4 months the pain returned so reluctantly they agreed to give me prostap long term along with HRT. I had been on
